Paul good job. have you ever used a Luci light? 100% solar lasts 6 hours or so around 10 quid each lasts for years. Nice swim, cold I reckon.

Just completed this today, what a journey 5 days of blood sweat tears sunburn and a full pack of compeed. Sat in bed in the Weston hotel in Scarborough watching England beat the Swiss. Big up to Paul for those slate plaques, they brought me to tears also. Because 4 years ago I was having desperate thoughts and was intervened before I did something bad. Thanks to you haze inspiring me to get out there and smashing it.

despite adding weight, a tritan nalgene bottle wouldn't go a miss due to slamming a litre of hot water in it and using it as a radiator for socks and shoes and whatever else

Haze, can you tell me how you're getting such good sound in that much wind? You can hear all the wind, but your voice is clear, and the mic isn't being overpowered. Most folk out recording in wind end up with massive peaking, and their voice drowned out. Curious how you do it, while keeping your pack light.

The bad step from coruisk to Elgol really is not too bad in good weather, but you're sensible to avoid it with bad weather. The camasunary track is a lovely alternative.

About the dinosaurs, go to the Staffin Dinosaur museum if you’ve not already! The owner has collected majority of items himself, lots of other ancient things too!

Bloody hell , £72 for an 880 gr pack and a great idea to stash the mat at back as a frame and sleeping mat . My little Atompack only holds 40 litre Being Chinese its going to fall apart with heavy use . Your Lansham is a load of crap but its cheap ..and nasty lol .I m a Durstan follower and they are made much stronger. I doubt the bag will stand all day heavy rain, theres waterproof and water resistant .Cheap way to fully waterproof it is to paint it with silicon mixed with thinners. Loads of youtube stuff on this

At last and thank you Mr Haze for pointing out trekology pillows. It's not only the pillows but the air beds as well. It is a valve problem but trekology won't admit it. Tried in vain for a refund but was hit with brick wall after brick wall. Excellent vid and good to see Joey D back. 👍

Well said Mr Haze. Enjoy and use whatever nature provides you but with all of us it's about " leaving no trace ". Personally, an eyesore for me.

Just completed the trail myself. Cheers for your videos fella! made some great reference points and things to note... also very enjoyable spotting said latch and locks you passed. That small bunch of trees you camped near Kilmarie in the storm.. when I passed it (camped just before this point) I decided to name it Hazeys Wood 😄
