Just bought the EG4 branded version. I don't expect much difference other than the label. Sounds like a very nice inverter.

Does the 200 Amp Bypass automatically initiate under loads that have a high in-rush current then revert back to powering everything off solar/battery?

can this inverter be black started? in other words if during grid down, yur batteries from below say 10% and shut down . How do you restart if still only AC coupled or with PV?

Very interesting inverter, i currently have 48 panels all using enphase iQ7 micro inverters, you said i could keep those micros and connect line 1 & 2 to the generator ports?? Very very interesting

Looking at the manual, it seems very intuitive and very flexible. I like that all the safety disconnects are included. I would probably still wire an external grid meter to main panel bypass in case the unit fails.

What did you mean that the 200 amp pass through allowed you to “cut down on the use of a sub panel”? Could you explain that in detail? I’m just guessing, but does that mean that you are not backfeeding a panel with solar and a backfeed breaker, or are you talking about something different?

Can this unit be used with an LiFePO4 battery bank that is not connected with communication? No one seems to answer this question. If I do not buy the computer rack Lithium Batteries, can it charge, and use the LiFePO4 battery bank?

Definitely not the same, but likely made by the same OEM under the same roof built to different specs. Same with SolArk.

The 18KPV does only have 12K output But 18Kw of PV input. This unit doesn't quite look like the 18K PV

Yes. EG4 hybrid inverter from Luxpower. However Huayu has provided about 400 pages of new evidences to the court in China to prove that Luxpower used the same money for Huayu’s exclusive 8-10kW series models to certify the so called 12kW model(the actual AC output is 10.4kW/208V only). But Luxpower provided nothing to the court to prove they have paid another certification fee(another million CNY)for the so called fake 12kW(10.4kW/208V). Also Luxpower tried to prevent the court to obtained evidences that Luxpower has also sold Huayu’s exclusive models 8kW/10kW models to US companies(such as Fortress & Sunbeat). In this case, Huayu reserves the right to further sue Luxpower Contract Swindler Crime until Luxpower proves that they have used Huayu’s certification fee as agreed on Jan.14th, 2021 for Huayu’s exclusive 8-10kW series models, not including the fake 12kW model(10.4kW/208V).

Sound quality is horrendous. Narrative is mostly wordy illiterate slang… “right off the bat”, etc. Seriously. If you can’t even figure out how to create a video with decent sound quality, how do you expect anyone to think that you know anything about a solar hybrid number? I mean seriously, why even waste your time. Or ours.

my battery discharged completely overnight, it didn't use the grid power, it prioritize using the battery first. how do i program it so that the battery is used only as backup
