Yep, we can feel their pain...twenty-fifth anniversary, Greeley, Colorado, Fanta- Suite Hotel...Ended up watching the Olympics all night. What a wonderful story, hilarious!

25th anniversary: overseas trip scuppered by my cancer diagnosis, so we got in a long weekend between surgery and radiation. We rent a cottage pictured with a tasteful Shaker style, four poster, queen bed, only to discover a 1980's lattice work canopy/four poster king with - you guessed it - a mirror. The bed was too big for the room. The plumbing backed up. Fortunately someone fixed the plumbing (digging in the yard!). The bonus was the screened in porch and a lovely tree canopy. We had a relaxing time and I am in remission.
