Only 38 minutes in so far, but I just want to say. THANK YOU for saying Slayton is underrated. He's not a superstar, never will be, but my god there's a lot of teams who could use a cost-effective Slayton. I think Jones has hindered what he could have been, which is a really solid #2. I think he still can be for a couple years, just needs the right situation to do so.

Daniel Jones is playing for his career this season. Inside team sources have leaked that Daboll will start who ever plays best in training camp and that the team aggressively tried to trade up for Drake Maye. His contract is structured so that they can get out of it easily next off-season if need be.

6 seasons in guys are who they are. There's rarely a big jump. Drew Lock is currently first on the depth chart and the Giants have made it known the job is open to whomever claims it. I guess we'll see.

Daboll knows how fickle these HC gigs are, he had nothing to do with the Giants drafting Daniel Jones and has no interest in losing his job over the guy

@@brandoncosbyjr.7097 Exactly. Immediately upon hire the new brain trust declined his 5th year option and signed Tyrod Taylor for two years. I fully believe the intent was to move on but then they made the playoffs on a weak schedule. This year they tried to get Maye but couldn't work it. Coaches want to sink or swim with their own guy.

Not even, they’re already done with him it’s very clear they’re just eating until after this year hoping he doesn’t get hurt so they can get rid of him with as minimal damage as possible financially. He’s gonna stick around the league and probably be a starter somewhere at some point as long as he’s healthy. His career thus far reminds me a lot of Alex smith

Kyler is not that bad. He is much better than any QB that we've seen on these teams so far so I get it. They'll probably be 21-25 if I had to guess.

With Kyler back and Marcus's evaluation of him, it doesn't surprise me that they're higher than this. Marcus has evaluated Kyler as a borderline elite talent, so they're probably not going to be as low as you'd think.

We set a good foundation without Kyler and was a Matt prater from going 4-4 with him starting only getting better but Kyler starting for the whole season is the biggest addition by far anyone who can’t see that is crazy

Thank you on your take about not getting suffice help next to dexter. Jordan Phillips is not a supplemental piece for trading Leo. I got hope in him but that is unflippinbelievable that he was the best play for that spot. Thank you for being a non nyg fan and standing up for daniel and speaking facts, love you for that tfg. As for which team will be revealed, he had a Twitter post where he gave a huge hint that it would be Arizona. I think it will be one of these 3 teams: Arizona, New Orleans, or Seattle.

What doesn’t get mentioned is that wandale, Hyatt and AT didn’t even play with jones much at all last season. While they aren’t additions because they’ve been on the team but the will be healthy this year

What i saw from Thibs tape was that he was always responsible for outside contain so he can only rush the tackles outside shoulders…im also pretty sure they know that…so when he doesn’t get those schemes up free rushes he gets very limited on the moves he can make. Hoping in this new defense he gets to straight rush the passer to the inside or outside on a consistent basis

Nic McCloud is likely to be the starting slot this year though they said they drafted Phillips to play the slot. McCloud is a good run defender who has been a replacement level guy on the outside the last two years.

My guess would be the Raiders next. Marcus is just too high on Kyler for Cardinals to be next I would imagine. I don't think the Raiders would come out very high in his formula given their QB and offensive line + coaching staff not being very good. And the defense still lacks talent beside the core players.

I think cardinals or saints. QB is definitely an issue, but they have a great DC with a pretty good defense. A pretty good o-line, and crazy good receiver corp including TE

One of the rare Instances where the head coach isn’t a part of the problem with a bad team. Watching the offense come to the sidelines I wonder how many times Daboll said “Wtf was that?”

One thing I would add is Tyrone Tracy to special teams for the returner. I have a feeling they will use him in the new kickoff return system.

As a Raiders fan, I firmly believe Carmen Bricillo was the biggest offseason upgrade the Giants made this year (not named Malik nabers). I will say that while the pass blocking far exceeded expectations, our team's run blocking over the last two years has been underwhelming. We'll see whether that was a scheme issue or a talent issue, but we couldn't run the ball between the tackles to save our life despite having JJ & Zeus last year.

I could definitely see Thib's technique improving with Martindale gone. I remember when he was with the Ravens our edge rushers would consistently have low sack production, despite the blitz heavy scheme providing an overall decent pass rush floor. I wasn't tracking the advanced pass rush metrics at that time but wouldn't be shocked if they were also pretty bad in PRWR, and just were less lucky than Thibs on actually getting the sacks

Can you do an end of summer general update video. Something that goes position by position for additions that didn’t make the video. Like let’s say one of these bottom teams add Justin Simmons and Gilmore, just a quick rundown of all of them so we can understand what player were missed. Obviously you cannot wait to release these after all signings are done but we also get an update
