In this episode of "How to App on iOS". I will taking a look at deeper dive into the incredibly versatile Audio Host AUM on iOS. Calling AUM just an Audio Host nowhere near gives it the justice it deserves. It is a virtual patch bay that connects inputs, outputs, Audio Unit extensions, Inter-App Audio apps, Audiobus, soundfile players, built-in signal processing and filters, in any configuration you want. You can route anything to anywhere with mix-busses, effect sends, audiobus ports, and external multi-channel audio interfaces. It truly is the Swiss Army Knife of iOS Audio Apps.

Excellent! As you will see in this episode I had a blast setting up a crazy amount of apps to live jam. This app has definitely opened up my mind to so much more. Good luck creating with it!

Hi Jade, caught up on the replay, great stuff! I was just looking into doing more with AUM as I find myself using it more and more, as of now I’ve used l7 looper with it, but I had heard of using xequence 2 with it and was curious about that app. Heard of this one? So many cool things to look at..Anyway, good stuff 👍

It truly is a mind blowing app. It's opened my mind to exactly how I'm going to record my next U-10 Cells Album. I'll have a look at Xequence 2. There are just so many apps that are amazing these days. We are so spoilt for stuff!!

Great intro to AUM and what it can do. The song you created made the video super enjoyable while I was digesting all that technical stuff on the app. By the way, I was impressed by the app you used for the Sax sounds around 21:15. Looks like that's the GeoShred app. The app store says GeoShred Play 5 is free for the Diwali holiday, so I grabbed it and at first glance, it looks pretty nice and the sounds are great.

This is such a great app. I am trying to use AUM for guitar and play guitar instructional videos on KZfaq or TrueFire channel. They don’t play together. Is this possible? I can’t find any info on this. Thank you.
