So just an FYI for loading different set of sound setup you can assign midi controller like a button for each button to load different project, I think you can do what you were wanting to do, it will simulate like a scene so each midi controller button can be assigned to different AUM project.

FYI you can now finally do real side chaining with AUM. A bunch of developers made plugins already to take advantage of the multichannel ability. 4pockets made one called sidechain and it is as easy as possible to create sidechain effects. You could make a very cool how to because it can get a bit complicated until you understand how it works. YOU will have so much fun with it. It's so powerful now. I didn't realize how important sidechaining is plus the ability to output to multiple channels. Get the plugin called Digikeys by 4pockets if you really want a crazy good app for AUM. I will watch for your video on multichannel using AUM because you are good at explaining stuff and I will get ideas from you for sure.. Have fun.

Found this after seeing your Mac Studio video. This was part of my transition and learning curve. I found this app for my iPad - I got the Korg nanoKontrol Studio and nanoKey Studio and of course had to get ths app along with some of the software that Korg provides - Gadget 2. I was not invested heavily in a previous studio setup. So learning along the way and this helps a lot since you are at a level far above me in this area. Great video - thanks

Thanks Bro for sharing, really great review. I‘ve been using this a while but one problem I‘ve been facing is the DSP sometimes goes up to over 100% when playing and that cracks up the sound, I believe it‘s some kind of latency or memory issue but I actually clear all IOS Apps from memory before running this. Using the IPad Pro, 12,9“ 128GB, 4GB RAM which supposed to be okay I guess:-) I must admit that I load all the GM Apps (because I love those;-) ) and Ravenscroft into AUM which probably might be the cause of the issue.. How do you manage to get your DSP value constantly below 15%. which kinda IPad are you using, because you also have quiet a lot opened. Thanks and be blessed 🙏🏾

Kwasi Ofori Audio Units or AUv3 apps use allot less processing power than IAA or inner app audio in fact you will be seeing less IAA's in the future and many developers are are adding AU versions of their apps

John Mike, thanks Bro for confirming this. I believe the newer iPads are having better processing units than the older ones, infact the new iPads are getting closer to MacBooks and the music gigging/production apps on IOS just amazing and much affordable than those on real hardware so I really would encourage anyone looking for a new hardware to invest in an iPad and a good midi Keyboard than a fully packed Hardware synth which are more expensive 😉 BTW, I love your reviews on all the gear stuff, keep on and stay blessed 🙏🏾

John Mike Yes. That part I understand. But what are your settings in Module for AUM to play it. I have the midi set to channel 1 in Module and in AUM I have the AUM “Keyboard” chosen in Midid sources. I’m still not able to access Module. What am I missing.? Any of my instruments loaded as a AU are working just fine but Module as an Inter App Audio...is not working. What are you doing in Module to set it up?

@@ccherryii After you had set it up in AUM, leave the AUM interface and fire up Korg Module and wait for it to load up and test if you have sounds while playing your keys. Then go back to AUM and try to access the channel to which you have assigned the Korg Module. Tap on the Korg Module logo on that channel an it should instantaneously switch to the Korg Module App. You will find that Korg and AUM has connection if you see the AUM logo on the Korg Module app interface/screen. This way you can switch back and forth AUM and Korg. What I always do is fire up Korg first before launching AUM.

First video I saw about AUM in a way I thought how I would use it. My biggest question is how do you have those two didn't midi controllers connected to the iPad. PLZ help me with that

Hello John Mike, I installed the AUM-Audio Mixer and I love it. I am impressed with its effects rack. Once thing I am struggling is trying to map parameters with my nanoKontrol2. The app recognizes my controller and I set it up on the midi in but when I ask to lean to map the volume to it, nothing happens. I does work against my keyboard controller faders but not with the nanokontrol2. Do you know if it is not compatible?

I’d have to try it...I’ve used it with my nano Kontrol studio before with no issues

Hi John Mike … thanks for another helpful video. Since it was posted a couple of years ago, I was wondering if you have found any other apps that are similar to Mainstage? Also, I don’t know if you got an answer to your question about saving “scenes” but I just saw this video about saving templates that may accomplish the same thing. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qdKoYJSiuserd3U.html. Thanks again.
