Hello Alison! You have to love it when a video / technique is so perfectly timed to a current project. I was just thinking about using the Mattints to color in the images on my 3x5 cards but hadn’t yet thought about combining them with the Fresco paints. YAY … perfect idea! Also, by seeing you use the tissue paper on those book pages, it also solidified the idea of using the tissue designs on the backs of my cards so they’ll be double sided. I want to finish the 3 that I started a couple of weeks ago before moving on to the next batch. I love the pages made during your fun play time - something so simple and yet with such lovely results. I have yet to actually tear a page out of an old book! I often use manufactured book pages and love the look of it. I bought a set of encyclopedias from 1952 for $10 with the idea of dismantling them but alas, they are still intact in the box I brought them home in. They say once you tear out that first page it gets easier! LOL I would love a deep dive into mediums and how they interact with the Fresco paints. I have a variety of products including all of the PaperArtsy glazes. I’m currently experimenting with clear gesso on the 5x7 collage journal project and am a bit surprised by the variances within a product type. I’ve used 3 different brands so far and they all have different finishes from smooth to rough. I haven’t picked a favorite yet but I need to use up what I have before buying any more and/or having it get wasted - art basics clear gesso dehydrated to 1/2 a jar and got hard - sadly, to the dumpster it will go… at least NOW I’m actually using my supplies! 😂 Thanks again for all you do to encourage and inspire! I would love to see a video on how to make a paint more transparent. What medium works best to make a opaque paint more transparent if that is something you know. Sometimes, I am looking for a certain color but can not find it in a transparent or anything close to it. Your painty/ tissue paper book pages are beautiful. Thanks for sharing

Yes please! Distress oxide and water colors, mica powders, crackle all of the above. Im brand new to mica powders and haven't decided how to try and incorporate or what i might want to avoid.
