We asked the award winning young filmmaker Louis Johnson to make a film for us and we just love it. The short film was shot entirely on location on one of our host farms in Norfolk and we feel sure you'll agree that this is such a sensitive and insightful piece of filmmaking.
We first became aware of Louis when he was announced as the winner of the YOOF International Video Award back in 2019.* We really like Louis' winning film and the treatment he gave to the allotment project he chose as the subject of that film and so we couldn't resist asking if Louis would agree to make a film for us too.
Without wanting to place any restrictions on Louis' creativity we simply requested that the subject be around the WWOOFer experience as we have another short film planned with a focus on the WWOOFing exchange from a host's perspective.
