Never lose hope. You are capable of more than you can ever imagine. Just look at Owen and Julien. They had a million reasons to give up, but they didn't. They persevered, became monsters and they are helping others to do the same. After we solve these basic problems, we are gonna go into space and explore what the heck this is. Never lose hope. Keep going.

“Because when we watch a child-say, dancing-and it’s never learned; never had a single dancing lesson, and is really just dancing for fun, we say, “That’s delightful.” Then, eventually, the child notices that this is a way of getting attention and becomes self-conscious about dancing, and then we send it to dancing school, and it becomes stiff and wretched. And only after many, many years of practice does the child-as a dancer, now a young man or woman-recapture the spontaneity of childhood.” -Alan Watts

Appreciate this vid a lot guys-I used to think these lectures were fueled by bravado & confidence alone, but in order to truly resonate, you need to undergird the scaffolding of outward expression with a sound foundation of genuine humility. The past two years have melted away a lot of veneers-individuals, organizations, institutions. Imperfections have been exposed, and people are frightened, confused, frustrated. I dig your content because you aim for real improvement without ever needing veneers or shortcuts (or genies). You’ve come out on the other side of this massive societal shakeup with a lot of momentum while many many others have faltered & succumbed. Sending power 💪

Seemed like kind of a tough crowd for Julien 🤣 I was introduced to RSD through Julien's video course he called Pimp. It was all new to me and had a major impact. It was exciting to learn all this stuff I had never seen so well laid out before. I still remember what he was wearing and what the furniture looked like in the videos. That was almost 10 years ago I think.

What I get from watching this is work on you voice. Be able to speak in the low to lower-mid register of your range loud and with authority when addressing a crowd, or in a meeting room. Don't clam-up, hide, and slip timidly into the high register. When your voice is low, in control and booming, confidence is there. When little high pitched squeaks come out confidence plummets. Additionally, to get others to resonate with you, you need to make the room resonate. I didn't watch the entire video, so I don't know if they addressed it, but so few of these guys talk about your sound.

And isn't the issue in thinking everyone else is being themselves and not you. Because of that a talk like this can actually have the opposit effect. Causing people to serch for some phantom self. If you knew everyone struggles to be "themselves" then maybe you can relax, observe, humour, sympathise or energise people trying to be "themselves". Maybe we should altogether do away with the idea of self and think in terms of roles, which are always shifiting. Real social intelligence could be knowing you're an actor without a role or knowing which role to play to delight yourself/best outcome for all?

This gets very confusing when they say that you should just accept your self and don't care about outcome but then jump into saying just go crushing it! No excuses! You Will have sucesso unless...

It's the difference between INTENTION vs DESIRE... Let go of desire/neediness/outcome-attachment, but still have a STRONG intention to win and crush it!

@JulienHimself Right! thanks for answering back. I get it but it is still a bit paradoxical. For example if I want to get good socialy should I go out every single day? Isn't that a bit try hard and trying to prove my self?

Yes, the video gives a scummy feeling/overtone. But I think what they want to say is that first, you need to be connected to your higher self, and then with such a mindset (lack of neediness), you can go out socializing. In my opinion, the ratio is more 50/50 % than 80/20 as Owen said. But If have good social skills level it is propably close to the Owen ratio.

Hello Julien. Owen acting like a loser was so funny. Had to screen record that for later, lol. Do you think transformation mastery is still the best program you guys have for releasing trauma? I think not being a scammer was the biggest key point for me. Will try just being boring to see how it goes.

I appreciate the longtime viewership. The classic content has been removed, so we want people to be able to still get the lessons that YOU benefited from back in the day, in a format that we are able to leave posted here for people to benefit from. So when we redo old school videos like this, it's so others can benefit. I've also spent the past 2 years working on about 100 hours of new content that's coming out this year, that is completely different from this. The recent 3 part series posted just prior to this is an example of that. But we need to simultaneously get this content redone in a way we can leave posted, as well as create new content. It's a big job. -Owen
