Lets hope the Hornby company watch this to understand the huge drift that's gone on after this 'classic era' of Hornby Tri-Ang gear. This is a proper train set that would give endless hours of enjoyment. Todays Hornby product seem to be wrapped up with elements of disappointment and a total lack of vision

Wow , talk about memories, as a kid I used to wear a catalogue out just looking at what I wished I could have. Great narration my friend, very relaxing and also very professionally done. Thanks and do lots more...they are great to watch.

Hi Oscar , I know you have shown how the layout works before but it is still fascinating watching you in action with all the electrical accessories you have . Great video .

If anybody needed therapy I'd show them your channel. The music, the motors rumbling, and your smooth voice are so relaxing :)

The thing I really like about this channel its almost like going back in a time machine where you have original trains etc. I am also amazed at the amount of boxes & catalogues you have like you just went to a hobby shop in say 1965 or such

This video was an escape from the “norm”, and hugely entertaining Oscar! It’s good to see your layout operating and the variety of moves you can make with it. I think sometimes we overlook the “play” value of model railways, although the purists would shudder hearing me say that.

I like the Super 4 track and thought it was the best thing that Tri-ang did. I can't help but notice how much effort you have put into the trackwork......plumb straight lines and parallel tracks. You have to have some engineering background. This is truly a wonderful layout and pleased that Tri-ang formed part of my early child hood.

Recently subscribed and really enjoying your videos which help bring back great memories of playing with my train set in the 1960s/70s! I had a Hornby Battle Space set complete with military green 0-6-0 loco, tank transporter, glider launch wagon, rocket firing gun and exploding wagon (which you could put caps in). Sadly sold it many years ago and now wish I'd kept it. Love your layout and thanks for the detail given Oscar!

Drink a pint every time 'old' gets said and you'd be under the table in five minutes. Despite that, great to see a layout without static grass and weathering provide so much fun.

Great video - nice to watch a little train-play! I think those old H&M controllers are just the job. Nice looking through the old catalogues at the end too.

Great entertaining and enjoyable video to watch and a great layout with the vintage locomotives, rolling stock and accessories. Noticed the Hornby cable drums on the layout. Have two of those which came with a flat bed wagon I got for Christmas off my sister in the late 1960s
