The Kurds definitely deserve (and need) their own state, but the true evil here is Turkey (and Russia). Sweden and Finland have to look out for themselves first, having the neighbour they have. Also, I'm sure that even if they strike a deal with Erdogan, they'll find a way to still support Rojava and the Kurds. Don't give up faith and Biji Kurdistan! 💪

I think you have misunderstood what has been agreed between Finland, Sweden and Turkey. Decisions about deportation from Finland and Sweden are made in court. The government cannot send anyone anywhere and they cannot make agreements about such deportations. The government has no power in such issues. It is quite possible that Turkey views this differently as it is more or less a dictatorship. In Finland and Sweden these are court decisions.

It's sad to see. I do not blame the Swedes or Finns, as they must be catious, Hell - I don't even blame the Turks entirely, but Erdogan himself. And the United States was complicit. In my opinion, Turkey deserves to be kicked out of NATO even past their restriction of Sweden and Finland from NATO. I think Kurds should see the Greeks as a friend. I'm just mad my country was complicit. I'm well aware the Turks have disputes with the Greeks over the Aegean and Cyprus. So in response to surpressing the Kurds, I think what my country should do, and what I would do if I was president in this situation is support Greece in gaining total control of the Aegean and Cyprus, possibly even threatening to take Thrace and Western Anatolia itself unless Turkey cedes it's east to a Kurdish state. At least Ataturk's Turkey was more respectable. Erdogan is really pushing it.
