It’s Friday 13th September and once once again I step into my other life as a Paranormal Investigator / Researcher along with fellow SPIRAL PARANORMAL members Mandy, Kerry and Al as we join our friends Tim Brown and The P.I.G.S. Team (Paranormal Intelligence Gathering Service) to investigate one of my favourite historical buildings in the Country and Michelham Priory. The Priory is the site of a former Augustine Priory in East Sussex. The surviving buildings are owned and administered by the Sussex Archaeological Society and is both Grade I and Grade II listed. The East and North Wings date from the 13th Century and the West Wing from the 16th century. Nb. Thanks to my buddy Al for the daytime opening shots of The Priory.

A very weird place, but very compelling too. I think I've been there twice, but not for over 40-years. Once visited, never forgotten!

It's a remarkable place Nigel as you say. Largest Moat (I think) in England although don't know if Leeds Castle beats it.

The door to that cupboard opened by itself when there were three of us stood still next to it while talking, we all felt suddenly cold and her a child's giggle. While attic on the landing looking towards the two steps up to the rooms opposite. Two of us saw a black shadow walk from one room to another. Sadly neither of us had our cameras going. In the kitchen I was pushed out of a chair near the fireplace. In the gatehouse, ' we heard clinking of goblets and the smell of cooking. It all happens when you least expect it.

This was over three days. Sorry, should have made that clear but, still very active. When the cupboard opened, my partner swiftly left the area!!!. There is reportedly a little boy in the water and his mum on the bridge, I have smelt her perfume but not seen her. It's a very active place and I think ' they' play tricks on people. Worth a visit any time of day. Not until the virus has cleared off though. Stay safe.

Been to The Mermaid Inn many times David, lovely place although I never use the word 'haunted' as if Spirit exist in our world the it should be everywhere.
