I loved the poem and great reminder to love ourselves and be our own best friends. Especially if one is alone or lives a lone the chatter in the mind isn’t always so kind.

Oh Dee. You…you with your gentle, helpful advice and poems and words of wisdom…so strong… and I can’t imagine you ever going off course for one moment in your life. You’re so brave. So calm. So strong. I’ve come so close…during my life…feeling, at times, as if I want to give up..or that I would surely just break apart into little pieces. We all have our limits. Life sure isn’t easy…but we’re both still here. So are the others who are subscribers. You are an amazing woman. I so wish I was more like you. But I am who I am. And you are here to help so many of us who struggle with our unique issues/problems. You show us a way to move out of the darkness into the light. I so appreciate your channel and your videos. Hello Dee ❤🌷🌸 this is my day off today and I just finished my adult ballet class, at The National Ballet Of Canada Toronto it’s just such a happy fun place to be taking adult ballet classes there I’ve met the nicest people and I don’t have the highest self-esteem. it’s hard for me to look at myself in the mirrora few pounds lighter or whatever but the only place I really truly laugh and I feel like myself and away anyways about to have lunch and I just wanted to say hello and thank you for your wonderful videos. Thankyou Dee, im in pjs most days and im happy with my own company. Got out af a long term abusive marriage. Im not ready yet to meet the outside world again. Im getting professional help and I'm tying to get better every day but in my own time. My time is my own now its wonderful Its a long difficult road.

I had my own therapist inside me, all the answer are there we just don’t think they are. Everything we hear is a reminder of this, yes we are enough just the way we are. Bigs hugs ❤🙏🏽

That poem really struck home. Strangely watched your video about doing the thing you fear. I have been very anxious and depressed, partly my own fault and know I let others down but had been under alot of stress for 6 months before it came to ahead. Anyway I got called for an op to remove 2 lumps on my face I backed out of op about 5 years ago but knew I needed the surgery. I went to hospital and had op under local anasetic. Had 8 stiches above jip which was very swollen and a few in my cheek. I looked a sight and got stiches out 8 days later. Swelling going down and scars will fade. Thank you for your gentle encouragement.

The quandary I am in is this… I am so BLESSED with family, friends, etc…, yet I still feel blue!!! I have absolutely NO REASON to feel this way, yet I do. This also brings guilt because there are so many wonderful people that truly have a reason to be down. However, as I said, “I do not”.

Was this last year Dee? I liked the poem, was just saying a lot of this to myself today after I dragged my behind around the supermarket for 'the big shop', was really tired out when I got home. Putting it all away is also fun! The upside is I don't have to go out for groceries for a good while, and yes I quite often it in my housecoat until after lunch! I don't feel bad as I had decades of getting up at the crack of dawn for work and working all night, weekends and holidays. My home is my castle, drawbridge up! I'm grateful I have a roof over my head, and food to eat, and being good to myself is becoming more routine.♥

Just feeling like leaving a comment. I’ve been feeling down and out lately. So tired, so exhausted. Sometimes it feels like I’m not enough when I’m this way. But yes, I am. We all are. To anyone feeling bad right now: stop for a minute. Don’t move, don’t take anything in. Take it out. What is this feeling? Be with it. You’ll be better. And since I started adding a couple words in Russian in every comment, today’s one is going to be “мир любит тебя” (the world loves you)
