I just thought if Celtic beat Hearts on the Saturday they’re actually really close to the title, I think the damage has been done! I listened to PC today and I didn’t get title winning vibes, if I’m being honest the opposite. I’ll always look back on this season as the one that injuries crushed us! We actually don’t even look a good team without the better players available. Next season we can’t have big Phil listing off a rack of injuries. As much as I like the Ridvan that plays he’s been here 2 years and only found out earlier this year that he was an important player- that’s not enough for success.If a shock happens with Celtic and we capitalise I’ll be the first to admit I’m wrong and would love it, but I’m no the type of guy that likes favours. Even then we probably would blow it somehow. I think this run in could be painful. And mentally I’m already prepared.I hate being this negative but this team isn’t ready.

Grafting and fighting for every ball should be a bare minimum for every player who takes the field. Anyone who doesn't do it should not be on the park.

Seen plenty of players play right up to the end of their contracts, but this year and last, never seen so many gutless unprofessional players. We still pay your wages. If Goldson is injured fair enough but if anything else it's a pretty daming personally. Ridvan is key imo, will allow Sterling to go RW. Need top performances. But a lot of learnings need to be learnt by board and management about how to build a squad.

we need the youngsters getting games. Outwith the top 4 they should be more than good enough to play against the rest of the SPL and most games could feature at least one, often two. The so called financial "Model" is to bring them through, sell them on. That is IMPOSSIBLE unless they play regularly. have any of them let us down? im sick of us spending 2, 3, 4 million on mediocre guys who may or may not settle in Scotland. Here is where the focus has to be. How many kids have gone from other SPL clubs to Italy, England and elsewhere its ridiculous. How many kids have WE developed into Rangers players since 2012? IT IS A SCANDAL!

If iam being honest I feel deflated can’t see these players standing up and being counted and we certainly won’t go to parkhead and win unfortunately

Those running the club need to stop signing guys with poor injury histories. It has been this way since Gerrards time, all the way until now. Jordan Rossiter, Shey Ojo, Helander, Cedric Itten, Kemar Roofe, Brandon Barker, Bongani Zungu, Matondo, Aaron Ramsay, Ridvan Yilmaz, Kieran Dowell, John Souttar, Sima, even as good as Danilo is his injury history doesn't read well. These are all guys with red flags of poor injury records before they joined us. The info is available online in a simple search. Thats alot of potential minefields waiting to go off, mixed with bad luck like Cortes, guys out of form and struggling defensively, others that sit and take a wage and deliver little, like Ryan Jack who I like but can't stay injury free, especially after Scotland duty. They gave Jack another year, that should never have happened. Raskin with his head in Chelsea FC clouds but hasn't so far shown the hunger or attitude to live up to his big billing. Silva who blows over with a change of wind. Wright, who tries but, isn't at the right level. This is the reason we are where we are and it falls on those running the club. The state of affairs is not good enough. Hopefully with the changes behind the scenes and new manager, our scouting and players improve going forward. Wasting money and wages on broken players is not the way forward. Bad business. If you run a machine with broken parts, the machine breaks down. So where we are and the mess with contracts is not Clements fault. Infact he has done amazingly well to squeeze where we are out of such a broken bunch.

Totally agree with the analysis of Goldson. Hes been told hes not been good enough and has taken the hump over being benched. One of the only defenders ive seen for rangers that is scared to head a ball and cant find the target at corners. Happily bring someone else in for him in the summer. Too lightweight and not good enough with his defending

I'm going start this with saying ano Connors been solid for us at the back & he's been a big part of why we've been able to not only compete but win against celtic. But I've personally seen the start of Goldson decline in the past 12-18 months & this season it's been clear to see so I'm not sad to see big Leon come back into the back line(he's our best defender in my opinion) Souter doesn't fill me with confidence but he's all we've got atm. This run in been bipolar to say the least but we're still in it so let's see. I think it's going be a huge summer window for us. Is there any truth in the story we might be able to get Sima done for around 6-8m?. I trust in big Phil talent ID so I'm hopeful of a really good window with some proper ballers in so big Phil can have a real go at the league with his players. If that happens I fully believe we'll be to strong for everyone next season. W.A.T.P

if we cant win all our games we wont deserve anything. you cant go a season with no wins against Celtic and expect to be champs. but IF we do that we need a lot of goals starting tomorrow. we are 8 goals behind. a 4-0 v Killie and a 2 goal victory against Celtic and we would still need to outscore them in the final 2 games as i dont see Celtic not winning their last 2 games. The chances of ANY of the above happening is slim to none. Our chance clearly went in that catastrophic week where we dropped 5 points v County & Dundee. I think they put so much effort into catching Celtic with that phenomenal run after big Phil took over but that, plus the mounting injuries, PLUS quite a few of those who did play being below 100% just caught up with us. we exceeded expectations after the Beale fiasco that gave us hope but truth is even on that run we rode our luck, got help with Celtic being shambolic and dropping so many. If we are honest we have just not quite earned the title. and the most glaring shortfall [taken season wide] is clinical FIT strikers. every Rangers team has had a strong, settled, defence and guys who can be reiled on to finish. I dont want another summer of 10 new players who might come good. We need to spend on proven scorers like Shankland / Mjovski - there are Good solid defenders in the SPL we can get cheap. If Butland is sold for £10M or more then Zander Clarke is a ready made replacement. AND the PRIMARY focus is a team that WINS the SPL - Europe should not be the priority. - a strong team domestically will do ok in Europe and make money. Crap Celtic have had far too easy a time of it since 55. THAT has to end.

The shape all wrong on left side causes a serious in balance in our team, silva a number 10 not a winger. Big Lunny pulling a caravan and souttar is not a better defender than goldson bears on here have amnesia about bomb scare souttar. We have an absolute mountain to climb and we are playing poor it will take a football miracle for us to win the league. Barisic is rank rotten am dreading him going to parkhead next week were he has bottled it time after time.

We need to get our head around thinking Kilmarnock are decent, they’re not and we need to get back to pumping these teams 5-0

So I think Killie will target Tav on the right and if he plays, Barisic on the left. That means that both Soutar and Balogun will need to step over to help cover those positions, that in turn means that the likes of Lundstrum and Diomande will need to be ready to go into the middle to help cover our centre backs. I do think that the gaffer needs to play Soutar on the RIGHT and Balogun on the LEFT i.e. on their natural sides. The way Goldson had played of late, dare I say it, he isn't much of a loss. We still have cover, to a certain extent, at centre back with Sterling, King and Yfeko (unless the latter two are injured which would be no surprise). I know statistically that our best centre back pairing this season has been Goldson and Balogun but just having big Leon in there makes be feel a little easier. I know he had a couple of shaky moments v St Mirren but that tackle in the box was a goal saving tackle, plus he actually HEADS THE BALL, as opposed to ducking or not jumping at all. Barisic played REASONABLY well v St Mirren before he came off and if we could be assured of that level of performance tomorrow I would take that because it frees up Sterling for elsewhere. Should that elsewhere be on the right wing? My only reservation with that is that he hasn't played there nearly enough and last week he didn't have a great game there. So do we play Ross McCausland as that's his natural position. I would certainly start with McCausland there and see how it goes. Here, however, is my real controversial selection*; if we play Barisic at left back and McCausland on the right wing that, as I said, frees up Sterling. So, I would drop Lundstrum and put Sterling beside Diomande. Let's be honest here, for the last, what, 6 games(?) Lundstrum has played like a player who knows his future ELSEWHERE is secured and he's just going through the motions until the end of the season. When Clement came in he made Lundstrum our midfield General and to be fair, Lundstrum reacted really well. When he pulled the strings in midfield, the team reacted and we played well but like I said, for the last 6 games or so, he's not looked like his mind is on the game. He's failed to make simple 10 yard passes on NUMEROUS occasions and for me, it is no coincidence that since Lundstrum has looked like his mind is elsewhere, our form has slumped. So I would play Sterling in there and let Diomande be our playmaker. Cantwell must be played in the number 10 role and should only be subbed if A) He's not playing well. B) He gets injured (God forbid) C) We are at least 3 goals in front and we want to protect him for the next game. Last week he really started to cause St Mirren problems then the gaffer subbed him???? I hope big Dessers can continue scoring crucial goals/WINNERS for us. It won't change my opinion that we need someone up front that will have a better ratio of goals v chances but take nothing away from the big man, he NEVER hides, no matter how open a chance he misses, he's always there when the next chance comes along. Lastly I come to the great white elephant in the room...... Silva. I personally would leave him out altogether and bring one of the lads from the B team in. Silva is worse than a man down and I am baffled that Wolves paid £35 million for this guy. *We all know of course, that he WON'T drop Lundstrum. My prediction; Rangers 3 Kilmarnock 1

Genuinely I don’t see the motivation on the park from people who know better. Lundstram used to be a tour-de-force when he arrived, now he’s like a limp biscuit. Tavernier and Goldson argue when oppo side scores. We need a different type of leadership on that park from the first to last whistle. Someone with the balls of Roy Keane and aura of Davy Weir. Celtic immediately pumped balls to Tavernier, and he wasn’t ready, so he is seen as a weak link. Says a lot.
