Hi Stephen and thank you so much for the comment, no doubt on Monday I will know more what’s going to happen re the eye, not sure what I will do if he says no to corrective surgery, go private I guess but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. Marvelous :) I know nothing about trains so thankfully can’t comment about what should or shouldn’t be running 😅 I just enjoy watching the trains go around on a wonderful looking layout :)

He he, you are the same as me my friend, I know bugger all about trains in real life which is why there are so many inaccuracies on the layout, but that’s ok because it doesn’t stop me enjoying myself and doing some modelling at the same time. 👍🏻. Cheers. …………..Graham

Praying for good news Monday AM for your eye. Great running session. As a bloke from across the pond I enjoy seeing all eras as well as LMS, LNER, GWR, Southern, BR, Network Rail as well as American favorites Santa Fe and Union Pacific. Hi Graham and Hazel. What a lovely running session, how great was the mixed freight, bet that took you some time to put together. 9f weathering brilliant. Do love those pullmans look really effective going round the layout. Night time scene superb. With the carriage lighting just makes it look so realistic. Just booked my hotel for the Doncaster exhibition Graham 10th and 11th Feb. So first exhibition of the year. So hope you get that eye sorted buddy, must be giving you a lot of pain. Hi Colin, layout looks great. Now, l'm not one that's usually bothered by having people sat in the coaches but..... your Brighton Belle is just crying out for some sitting at those lovely lampshaded tables. They'd look great. Just anothe job to add onto the long list though l suppose. Good luck with your appointment on Monday. I have a rare type of Glaucoma and have to have a DVLA field test annually. Just found out today that they say l've failed and have withdrawn my license. Even though my numbers were better than last year! Got a fight on my hands, already lodged an appeal, and got my consultant on the case. It happened 10 years ago and l got my license back. Took three bloody months though and made life extremely difficult. Anyway, good luck on Monday, l hope you get the answer you're looking for.

A good running session here graham, some great models featured in this one, haven’t got many southern region models in my fleet although that could change a bit this year as I currently have the Bulleid Leader on order and I hope to get one of the EFE rail CC1 or CC2 electrics, in the case of EMUs though that again for the southern region I don’t have very many of them, a good overall running session here Graham, keep up the great work.

Mr. Foulston, i am truly in awe with your layout! I’m new to the model train scene but I know enough to see that your engines, railcars, and layout are all marvelous! As an american, i have a soft spot for our large and mighty steam loco’s, especially those built in the art deco style, but I love being able to see those beautiful European loco’s! Wishing you the best for your upcoming appointment, you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers! Splendid work you’re doing here, I hope to see much more of it.

Reminiscent of a freight running on the Great Central in Leicestershire, I thought. Here's hoping for next week.... I'm also hoping that the Great Ouse hasn't made it into your garden. The village got a mention the other day. Did you see the Brighton Belle in your younger days? I stood and watched it from my bedroom window in South Croydon.

Hi Mark and thanks for the comment. Yes I did see the Brighton Belle on various occasions while standing on the platform at Three Bridges. It was also my very first model train I bought in 2013 which started me off in this model railway malarkey. The village was flooded a little bit, the Great Ouse did burst it banks and it went as far as the High Street but luckily for us it didn’t reach our property of garden - thank God, but the rain was horrendous though and rained for a long period of time too. It’s all flood planes where we are so it’s meant to flood in certain areas but it hardly ever goes up the high street like this time! Cheers. ………..Graham

Some of the freight will probably be going further afield such as around London, and then connect up on the lines to The Midlands, hence why there are some different wagons. I think on the line from London down to Brighton there were fast, semi-fast, and slow trains. I love the way the faster passenger train is overtaking the freight train. Is the two-car EMU, coming from Victoria Station in London, and terminating at Lakeside? An excellent running session.
