Found your channel from searching for bricklaying tips for DIY! Plenty of respect here for the skill and hard graft - you make it look effortless. I'm sure there's loads of people who can lay lots of bricks fast, but laying them perfectly is a whole different level. It's great to see how it's done properly..... and with pride.
@dylanfallon722911 ай бұрын
It's funny we had a labourer start with us last week and he said the same that we make it look so effortless so easy.. so I handed him my trowel and said go ahead bed out and put a head joint on a block. He wasn't long handing back the trowel and picking his bucket up and running for mortar again. Lol it looks easy because it's what we do for 8/9 hours a day 5 days a week and for god knows how many years. 😂 I'm only 8 years on the trowel and every days a learning day

Charlie boy, what can i say!! There weren't enough lads like you when i was laying bricks. The job can be tough at times, working with a miserable sod makes it a lit harder. Dont change mate and you will always have people fighting to work with you.

Big Fan! Every time i watch your videos, I learn something new! what size trowel is the one you used in this video?🙏 is the new trowel magnet strong enough now? previous one was too weak for my liking. whenever it gets dirty, trowel starts slipping down.

Charlie brother, is that wife. So you're like the best brickie I've ever seen who has a super hot wife who's learning bricklaying. Hang in there bud lol. Oh over 1 million subscribers. It just seemed like the young lady could use some guidance and extra training, I struggled so hard to get my workers to give it a proper go, I could use some help myself in strategies or techniques. I had a guy with me for 2 years and the whole time he was basically taking the piss. So I worked harder to make up for him. Turned myself into a machine because he was so slow. But I still struggle with the same thing. It's a fine line. But getting them to work harder and keeping up morale is more productive than doing the work for them that's 1 thing I've learned. For whatever it's worth bro. Don't take it the wrong way. I have mad respect for you bud
