As soon as we got the Ford back to the overcast capital of Ohio, the perfect dessert patina began to flash rust. We had to do some quick and dirty patina preservation. No clear coat here, just good old fashioned.....floor wax?!? Don't miss this amazing transformation.

K8lynn thinks so too. I think the orange is part of it’s history and the patina is irreplicable. We’ll see what happens when we get into it. Thanks for watching!

Bowling alley wax would work well also,, we used that on our solid wood plank flooring, is inexpensive.

Is there a product name for what you used? I’m looking for a good replacement for the SC Johnson stuff now that we know it’s unavailable.

Thanks. It really is amazing what that wax does to old vehicles. Completely cleans up the oxidized haze on the paint and keeps the rust looking amazing.

Back in early 60s, I used to use that on my 57 Ford and other cars. I worked great people don't have his nuts.

It sounds like you might be sliping the flywheel on the clutch disc is the transmision in neutral.

It is in neutral. I’ve wondered about the clutch being hung up. It’s stuck out of gear. Can’t get it into gear.

@crossthreadgarage1984 yes I think you could ceramic coat it over the wax.. it would make it Last a year or two, depending how good your ceramic is

What's the product y'all use to get old hard water haze off of automobile window's. My 68 c20 Chevy as pretty good haze on him.

Not sure Rudy, haven’t dealt with that. Most of our projects came to us while we were living in the American SW. water haze isn’t much of a problem in the dessert. Thanks for watching.
