they are more padded now, I've been in a pysch ward, and they sometimes bring your food, but it's mainly till you calm down. now they just give you sleepy shots and let you sleep

To answer questions brought up durin the padded room idk if you'll see this but i hope you do. they use handcuffs, modernly the padded walls if i remember are like panels of padding, giving a grid look to it. maybe that was once in that room and the semi squishy feelin you felt could by due to some kind of odd decay im not sure, trust me if thats how the walls were before, patients could do much much worse than just knock themselves out. Sometimes you would be put in the padded room for a simple emotional break down, why i have this knowledge. (though i dont remember much) if you dont callm down within minutes they bring in a bed and restrain you by wrists and ankles to the bed, very uncomfortable, and if you wont calm down after that, sedate you. thats as of 2018 if i remember correctly, thought i dont want to bc well why would i lol, padded rooms or the one i was in had NO window what so ever, and yeah the florescent lighting made it so so much harder, it makes the overstimulating fear worse from the light shining on you as if you were a lab rat. Now where i went was a psych ward people there for many different reasons, just the simple rooms at night had BARS , like prison bars on the windows and a net cover too. ON ANOTHER NOTE. I really appreciate the way you explore these places, i dream of exploring abandoned buildings, and i especially love how you try to paint a picture instead of wander through and point and say oh cool.
