i love how these covers don't only translate the japanese vocals to english, but it's also based on how the person that's covering the song interprets it. and that's also why every cover is different. some cover's lyrics are about the meaning of the song, while other's are about the story. this cover on the other hand was truly magnificent. the english lyrics are actually about the story and you can interpret them on very different ways. not only that, but the vocals are too. your voice and vocal range is just something else. i hope even more people find you and support you.

Yeah. He even manged to mimick some Japanese sounding syllables instead of it just sounding fully English. It doesn't sound like a plain Japanese imitation but a Japanese accent English lyrics. Keeps the original songs vibe

The translation on these lyrics is INSANE!!! I love how you basically ditched the idea of Word Accuracy to focus on translating the Concepts and Ideas and Symbolism that the lines have, it removes the jankiness that most translated songs have and makes it sound like it truly belongs!

true there, i feel like higher voices suit japanese songs better; namely songs from female artists or vocaloids. If you have a deeper voice i'd say try male artists or some of ado's songs for covers as her voice is seen as abnormally deep for a japanese woman, but she has an incredible vocal range and use of techniques so some of her song may be sorta hard to cover, but hey as long as you're enjoying yourself

Instead of the usual “breaking free from people pleasing” it’s “people pleasing will be the only thing that saves me” while also embracing being weird and different in order to actually stand out. Throwing her identity away while exaggerating it so twistedly in a way it isn’t her anymore. She’s sick of being average/below-average and blending into the normal and wants to finally stand out and be noticed for once

Obviously, this cover is wonderful, however, I'm so sad that I hadn't listened to your cover of "Yellow." I avoided that song for a while simply because I was quick to judge it within the first minute, and never looked back. I really liked your cover of it, but I particularly liked your interpretation. I know this may sound cheesy, but I have been really discouraged as of late, so your message in the description of your "Yellow" cover was really uplifting, and reminded me of how thankful I am for God's grace and kindness. I hope other people were blessed by it, but I also get the sense that you were as well. It's difficult to write something uplifting and encouraging for others without gaining some form of peace from it, as it reminds yourself of those same truths. Your voice would fit in those “ The most badass guys confessed to you at school” ASMR videos lol Jokes aside, 4-5 years ago I was desperate (literally) to get popular in class by either doing stupid jokes or try to befriend with everyone especially the more popular guys/girls. That desire crumbled my grades and my scores were extremely bad, I then started to focus more on study to lift the bad grades up but my mind was still focusing on that darn “being popular” mindset so although my grades improved I still felt empty because I haven’t achieved the popularity I wanted. Being too “normal” at the time, I decided to be stupid and started doing pranks on teachers/classmates (cuz you know pranks were popular in 2018) and that was my absolute worst decision ever, I faked picking up a fight with a small dude (dont worry he was fine), I hid in the girls restroom and lied bout it ( I pretended that I went to the wrong restroom) , I made jokes during classes etc. After those shenanigans I got the intentions that I wanted but they were negative, people started gossiping about me and eventually it got to the ears’s of my head teacher and she sent me to detention, I got a warning for breaking school rules, the girls knew about the “restroom incident” because my head teacher listed all the stupid craps I was doing. My friends stopped talking to me, the girls stayed away from me, teachers always double checked on me and I became “abnormal”, I did become famous (infamous) but I was lonely. My grades were still doing well after that but I have no one to talk to but at the end of the year I apologized publicly to the whole class and it got better ever since. From my story I just want y’all to know that you can be popular despite being a completely normal person, shows everyone the things you’re good at and they might like it (sports/school subjects/ Puzzle games/ Video games/ Music)and if you’re a popular person there will be at least one person that look up to you so by influencing positively your fan might become the best person they could possibly be. P.S: I didn’t get depression or any mental illnesses during that period of time I felt regret so I fixed my own problems and ơn up to it and no one was forcing me to apologize.

Can’t help but think about other song with alike plot. Can you help me remember it’s name, guys? There were more of a romantic story: Crippled girl fell in love with the class queen and was bullied for it. In the end she committed suicide or something like this, but the class queen couldn’t forget her smile, which disgusted her. All I remember clear is MC’s smile, which was quite scary and the fact that classmates gave her a flower, associated with death.
