Stay strong my brothers and sisters, stand as one and voice your opinion on what can and should be to done to care for the elder and especially the children of your nation. All reservations have been thru the same plight that your people are suffering thru now. I live on the Gila River Indian Reservation about 17 Mile's south of Phoenix, Arizona. Home to the Pima and Maricopa tribes. What we learned about the government it that it can be challenged and taken to court and be held accountable for neglecting issues of your people. Because your people are apart of our people we will stand by you and if needed stand up for you. Keep your people strong. We'll be here if you need us 1.9 Native Nation Warrior Assembly Southwest Chapter Sacred Mountain, Arizona Gila River Indian Reservation

Beautiful people, beautiful prayer. Too many ugly things done to them who have no honor, who are not honest, lack intelligence, and value nothing, but lust for power not knowing what is power. Yes, Creator, Great mystery, Great Spirit be merciful with the people, they have also endured the crucifixion at the hands of the Christians. Be merciful dear Lord to these children of the earth who love life, heavenly earth, one another, and you.

The prayer at the end says it all, let us live in a sacred way that is pleasing to you, oh Wakan Taka, Lord of the Universe. And to do so we must surrender all our desires for the one wish, to serve thee. And it is through the intuitive and inner sense of beauty and balance that we can do this, oh Lord, so we see thy laws that are for our benefit, and stand in absolute justice.

So, you want me to micro-research ALL YOU WHITE PEOPLE'S histories so that you can disrobe all your and your ancestors' filthy historical clothing - - those whom used THEIR ALL WHITE PRIVILEGES to eagerly and voluntarily run, NOT walk, but run on to as many ships as they could find to go to a place where they could not speak the language or understand the culture. BECAUSE OF YOUR ANCESTORS' ALL WHITE PRIVILEGE, which were attained for them through deadly and brut force, and that they could not wait to embrace, they were able to keep their names, languages, borders, religions, cultures, cuisines, etc., behind closed doors as well as publicly. Having white privilege, allowed your ancestors to keep all the aforementioned or also THROUGH THEIR ALL WHITE PRIVILEGE, to voluntarily give up their true identities out of embarrassment. OPENLY EMBRACING ALL OF THAT WHITE PRIVILEGE MAKES YOU AND YOUR ANCESTORS JUST AS GUILTY AS THE PEOPLE WHO PULLED THE TRIGGERS! What was done to the two Nations that YOUR ALL WHITE RACE voluntarily dismantled and shredded has left one remembering absolutely nothing of their origins, and the other one knowing so little that what's there is left is just enough to make them weep desperately while trying to cling on to what little of them there is. There are no words in any language capable of identifying what was and still is done to date? It's not from a lack of your race trying to tear that away from them also, which, as evidence by these videos, the ALL WHITE RACE is still stripping away as much as they can layer-by-layer. Whites continually ignore completely what they have done TO KEEP THAT ALL WHITE PEOPLE'S BANDWAGON/LUXURY-CRUISER/QUEEN MARY OF PRIVILEGE ROLLING. In both Nations, the children consistently: stolen from their elders, names changed so they could not be found, moved far away from their land and cultures. More often than not, all ages and both genders were beaten to death if they didn't conform, etc., so that ALL WHITE PEOPLE CAN LIVE THE PRIVILEGED LIFESTYLE that all that genocide, displacement, dismantling and shredding affords/grants YOU ALL GLOBALLY! So what was that ignorant crap you were saying to me again? Only a privileged person would totally ignore the devastation they see on this video by using it to push forward their own selfish stupid blind agenda that comes off exactly as their ancestors did when they knowingly unleashed their ugliness to fulfill and meet their own selfish greedy goals. You actually believe that your being misunderstood is more important than the needs of the people represented here, especially when YOU ARE NOT MISUNDERSTOOD at all. Well, I'll tell you what... You just do all the micro-research you want done so desparately, and EVERY FEW SECONDS, STOP, BEND OVER & FIRMLY PUCKER YOUR LIPS, PLACE THEM TIGHTLY OVER MY BUTTHOLE, SUCK REALLY HARD INGESTING ALL THAT HOT THICK WET GOOEY GOODNESS, THEN INSERT YOUR "ALL WHITE" HEAD UP MY BI-RACIAL ASS!

I've watched several videos about Pine Ridge, and I'm left asking why. Why are no apartments built? New trailer homes brought in? Businesses started? Yes, I realize the residents would not have the funds to build housing and start businesses, but there are whole organizations dedicated to building homes for disadvantaged people. Programs to help people start businesses. Why will these organizations and programs not locate and work here? What is stopping progress? I ask in full respect of our native peoples that live there, and I'm asking honestly to be educated - not as an accusation towards the residents. Do we have laws and regulations in place that prevent things from happening or are there other issues stopping organizations from functioning there?

Overall when people are comfortable in their misery, nothing will change. You can take a horse to the water, but you can't make him drink. Government assistance is a slippery slope, and this kind of poverty phenomena happens in all communities that get government assistance.

Good to see the words of wisdom towards the end of this recording, after seeing those rather depressing statistics. My view is that although some natives through their love of their people may reincarnate again to the same people, it is usually those who have wronged a people who reincarnate there, as they must then learn through the suffering of the consequences that they have sown, what is right and wrong, and thereby atone for their wrongs. Without this discernment we are all like dust thrown and scattered in the wind, with no firm, clear idea of our purpose and goals, the path of the Great Spirit, nor how to live peacably together. If we live aright, then this path becomes clear, and the wheel of reincarnation permits our development here on earth, and in the near beyond, so that we awaken to the Creator's laws, such as you reap what you have sown, and thus our perception improves and awakens, enabling a person to become increasingly grateful for his life, and for every breath. With this discovering, a man will become more respectful to all creatures, including himself, and find a worthwhile way of living that fulfils him, but each man can only do it for himself. Despite this, encouragement and support from others can help others undergo this transformation, and it is sad to see that there is little of this for the people of Pine Ridge, but an absurd proportion of sadistic peddlers, who revel and invest in their pain. I have seen the issues alcohol brings and it is not easy, but I stopped with the use of Alcoholics Anonymous, after which I gained the necessary connection with the spiritual power that awaits all who seek it, for he who seeks will and must find, for this is the first law of sow and reap. Since then my spiritual guidance has increased, and although the path is sometimes a struggle, I am deeply content with the life and knowledge imparted to me. I hope that the peoples on the indian reserves recover their dignity, and break the cycle of drink and other issues, so that their spiritual past glories can be redeemed, and they then contribute to the necessary earthly changes that are needed now. Their prophecies speak of this time, and it is clear the great awakening is happening from the many KZfaq recordings, but then all the signs are there, as forests burn, lands sink, and gales howl. A new era is to be ushered in on the wings of suffering, through nuclear holocausts and natural disasters, which will sift all men, and leave only those who care willing to submit to the laws of Creation. Then the Lakota, Oglala and men will be reborn, as the earth itself will be too, so prepare to don your best spiritual garments my brothers, for destiny calls!

Maidu Maiden what if 40 people simply stopped paying attention to those who are keeping them down? Then maybe a new idea will come from it. Who is it; that has so much power over so many people? The stand off that took place in 73 didn’t achieve much because it was a set up deal designed to not benefit the people. Some one was going to set up a movie house about 5 years ago; what happened?

That was a sweet comment you made!!! I love and admire your courage, You deserve better, just keep your faith and know you are loved. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. God is the archer and we are the bow, and he is aiming his arrow of truth at his mark. Not ours, we will always miss it. The early Christians were misguided and did a lot of harm by forcing people who were ill-equipped to understand their actions and beliefs. They did not lead with love and that was a sin. People have to be free to act within their capacity to comprehend anything. We are not born knowing it all. Spiritual truths have to be learned and experienced. Gods word says the spirit is younger than the flesh, and the older shall serve the younger. We will cross-over someday to eternity and God wants us to be prepared. So we will experience things bad, evil, and unjust in this life. How we handle it is critical to the next step in our journey. If we fail the test it gets harder the naxt time.So for you Native people, this means you have to understand God means what he says when he says you have to do better, forgive, and have faith even when things look their darkest. He has not and never will give up on you because you are precious enough to die for. Everything that happens is being recorded and the scales will balance someday ahead. Lets all end up in Heaven together and dance on the streets of glory!!!Praying for you all,

Remember what Crazy Horse said: "“Upon suffering beyond suffering; the Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of seven generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again. In that day there will be those among the Lakota who will carry knowledge and understanding of unity among all living things, and the young white ones will come to those of my people and ask for this wisdom. I salute the light within your eyes where the whole universe dwells. For when you are at that center within you and I am in that place within me, we shall be as one.” The was Crazy Horses prophecy 4 days before they assassinated him.

Their blood sweat and tears are the foundation of this country. This is what has become of the Lakota because of settlers and thrives. My family name his Big Horn. We are from the Fort Peck Rez and I thought it was bad there. That’s a vacation spot compared to Pine Ridge. This situation is evil and it’s a continuation of the genocide. Something must be done or we will continue to lose our indigenous AMERICAN people

This is the second time I am watching this video, and am more appalled than the first. Would the government allow the entire state of Connecticut to go without plumbing and electricity? I don’t think so. When your income is $3500. per year, how can anything be built? One person commented they should leave their land. And, go where? Any apartment wants first and last month’s rent. Where would that come from? The beautiful people are suffering. The government is more worried about refugees than they are about America’s original people. No schools, libraries, community centers, absolutely nothing. All these do-gooders who are there at the drop of a hat for other countries when a disaster strikes, look in your own country first!! For once our indigenous people need a break. The government needs to be held accountable for this travesty.

They may not drink alcohol in the reservation but they go to Gordon, a close town of Pine Ridge, where they go to drink Friday,Saturday and Sunday. They do it on week ends and not on labor days. Whoever say that is liying...They wanna give Pine Ridge, a bad credit... ,

@Anonymous I am so sorry, that is so sad that even the tribe council and native police don't want to help. I would love to come and help teach or use my skills a teacher, but I am sure I would not be welcomed as a Norwegian in Minnesota. I really hope that maybe you and your younger generation can find a way to bring hope, health, and financial stability to your people.

I am not Lakota, but I am Shawnee/Seminole. These living conditions is a travesty! We must have alcohol/drug rehab on the rez, job skills, have businesses move close to the rez...so much needs to be done. Our native people even though in despair are resilient, we are strong together! The reason we are still here is because HOPE CAN NOT BE lost! No matter how hard life gets don't lose hope!! It takes a strong mother or grandmother, an Aunt to steer the children in a positive direction. Living in poverty, being alcoholics, not working, being overcome with disease is NOT who we are! RISE UP!! Leaders of the community and help and lead the people. HOPE!

@eifeldude1 Has it not? To where did your family immigrate in 1958? Was it not to land that was previously taken from the native inhabitants? As a newcomer, do you think it is wise to interfere in treaties that you nor your ancestors had any part? Please consider the kind of contribution you are making to your new homeland.

And why doesn’t the tribal council welcome anyone with an idea to build up a factory or business enterprise? The reason there is disparity is because someone is keeping the people down. If it’s the tribal council with their rules then the people need to kick them out. I thought AIM did that once. I offered to send several sewing machines to anyone who would secure a place to set up a sewing shop and teach design, business, sewing, so it would turn into a sustainable business for the people to own. Not one single response.

I don't say this out of disrespect or ignorance but more out of couriousity but didn't native American Indian tribes know how to live off the land successfully without any white man interference and help and thrive?? They should have never lost those survival skills. It's sickening and heartbreaking so see such a fascinating beautiful race of people destroyed. 😖

then the treaties should not have been broke, the blankets soaked in smallpox not be given, the liqour given instead of food and other needs during a brutal winter, medicine should not have been withheld, and boarding schools run by white man religions should not have been built and children forced from their parents and grandparents or aunts and uncles and payments needed to be made as was first agreed upon vs our government withholding pay under treaty or letting one steal from another account withing the BIA and their bison or other livestock not be shot for fun and other properties not be taken from them as it happened.

The crow creek sioux Indian reservation of SD northwest of the town stephan. Has its tragic event after many decades the Indian Wars had ended. During the dust bowl area of the 1930s a large encampment of twenty or thirty Probably more hunkpati Dakota sioux people were living on Cheney rush, a hilly prairie land country along the Missouri River. When a large party of white civilians came with guns and rifles to wrongful blame the Dakota sioux people for horse thievery. They started to kill everyone there and buried the dead Dakota sioux bodies on top of a hill. Some Dakota sioux elders were young children at the time saw an witness the tragedy unfolded there will hiding a safe distance away. Many years later they told the story well crying and wipt of the tragic massacre at Cheney rush massacre. There's no memorial site there because of the forgotten Dakota sioux tragedy took place there. It's also the most huanted place on the reservation. Some of the Dakota sioux Indian people were descents of bullghost the hunkpati Dakota sioux Indian war leader later becoming the spiritual advisor of the ghost dance uprising of 1890 he inspired many Lakota sioux people to the ghost dance celebration in standing rock SD. Bullghost is also buried on the crow creek sioux Indian reservation. The Cheney rush massacre is the last forgotten Dakota sioux Indian massacre of the 20th century. The only tragic massacre the American civilians tried to cover up the evidence of the massacre. They later said that it never happened there? The Dakotah and Lakotah sioux people know the truth of the Cheney rush massacre is their ignorance towards our Native people and the seven council fires of the Dakota and Lakota sioux people. There were probably some of our Lakota sioux people there to.

How can this be fixed? Would returning the black Hills solve the problem? Do rules need to change so that people could help the Lakota build businesses and infrastructure on the reservation? I am aghast that the poverty is so bad. There has to be a solution of some sort.

Why do they say three hundred lives lost in mass graves? It's one hundred thousand life's lost during the 1890 chief massacre in mass collections of the American Smithsonian. I know because they tried returning them to Sioux nation last year on the 50th anniversary of wounded knee massacre.
