I got ABS code C1218 I replaced the wheel bearing sensor on the front driver.

It would be nice to see inside the more modern square block unit, to see the actual valves and possibly the channels, everything online kinda shows a simplified version that shows the pump as though there’s one for each wheel, and I’m unsure if they use an accumulator for each or if it’s shared and same for the dump valve area because it shows a piston and spring like an accumulator

So do you bleed the brake system before removing the old module or only after the new one is installed?

you should use some sealant on that and maybe face off the body make sure its dead nut flat, seen some leak and short out the module, burnt up

I am wondering, how do you torque the brake lines? I have a 1/2 traditional torque bar, but I cannot use the sockets. Is there a special tool for this? Can I just tighten the crap out of it using a open box wrench?

All these videos fail because they just say go spend 1000 - 1500 bucks on a new valve body. HOW DO YOU REPAIR THE VALVE BODY??
