@@MareikeMeetsMal No. The "black-haired beauty" was an invention of the show and is not mentioned in the books. Cersei has no children but Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen. Also the Tyrion Targ theory is stupid, the timeline doesn't work (twin Targs is more plausible but also definitely not true) and it robs Tyrion and Tywin's relationship of all its pathos and depth.

Regarding Tyrion - well, not sure about the timeline but even if it's just wishful thinking, then let me have it because the Tyrion from the final seasons is mostly such a weak version of his former genius. Plus, I'm pretty sure Penny is his first wife's daughter even if the character was cut from the TV show. Point being - there are more tragic mysteries hidden on page than on screen. 😉

You are making the mistake most people do. thinking in today's terms. He is an aristocrat, a lord and a high lord too as Warden of the East. This is how it works in the feudal society. Kids are groomed to become lords from the youngest age(and they are taught to fight at the youngest age). Of course Cat does not mean that he is supposed to rule and fight at the age of six, but in their world a lord's son is considered fit to do so way earlier than kids are considered adults today. So they have to be prepared and educated. That is what Cat means. Instead Lysa is making an infantile idiot out of her son. By title he is already the ruler, but of course others rule in his stead at that age. (SPOILER ALERT!) But let me tell you the story of Baldwin III. King of Jerusalem. When his grandfather king Baldwin II. died he was one year old. His mother princess Melisende(!) and her husband Fulk ruled while Baldwin was too young. While they got in a fight about succession(!) after Baldwin II.'s death i.e. who's kids are going to be kings. Melisende won. Her Baldwin would become king when he was old enough. Fulk died after a hunting accident(!). He lived for three days after. So while a child and his mother ruled in Jerusalem some Crusader States started to gain independence(!). Meanwhile Baldwin III. grew up and won his first battle he personally commanded at the age of 16(!) against Nur ad-Din.
