She absolutely SLAYS this cover. I’ve listened to it dozens of times. It’s damn near perfection! And yes, it’s scatting! (Singing without words, using random syllables and sounds. Very common in the jazz era of the 30’s-60s, and in a lot of jazz even to this day actually!)

In my opinion, Haley is better than Adele. She has an alluring tone, that distinctive rasp, and exceptional control. Haley is likely the most versatile singer today. There is no one I prefer listening to more.

@@danielplatts9446 its not unique to you and i think a lot of us have tried to describe this feeling. bascially haley's voice deeply touches your soul. no words can quite explain it, but when she sings, it's almost as if it becomes an extended part of your own emotions and senses. no one else but karen carpenter has had that effect on me and i have been generally a rock-n-roller... although their voices and ranges are different, there is something eerily very similar about their vibrato... it speeds up qucikly as the note is held but simultaneously fades off hauntedly like an echo in a room...

Haley put PMJ on the map. Not the other way around. Before Haley arrived, PMJ was playing only tiny venues and cheap dives. Then suddenly soon after Haley arrived on the scene, PMJ was performing in arenas and coliseums. Haley had more to do with PMJ's success than even Scott Bradlee himself had to do with it.

@@Flum666 When Morgan James was still touring with PMJ, all PMJ played was cheap dives and tiny venues. Then once Haley Reinhart arrived on the scene and quickly recorded several music videos that all went viral, suddenly PMJ found themselves playing arenas and coliseums. However, when that occurred, Morgan James had already stopped touring with PMJ. Morgan James is one of the better PMJ female vocalist. However, she is not a world-class vocalist like Haley Reinhart and neither does she have the "it" factor in spades like Haley Reinhart does either. I mean, Haley Reinhart alone has garnered more views on KZfaq than all the other PMJ vocalists combined alone.

nice reaction and its pronounced "rine-hart"... this maybe one of the best covers ever done. haley reinhart especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak" . i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little acrobatics, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo platinum cover of "can't help falling in love" for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ldt-o6iT2Z3bj6M.html

It's not about "their" covers. As this video wasn't reacted to because of PMJ. It was reacted to because this cover was sung by Haley Reinhart, who is a world class talent. I mean, did this reactor react to the PMJ original version of "Creep" recorded by Karen Marie? No, the reactor reacted to the Haley Reinhart version of "Creep". Why? Because Haley made it great. Moreover, this video is not great because of Scott Bradlee and PMJ. As the exact same arrangement was recorded earlier by Karen Marie. This video is great because it was sang by Haley Reinhart, who is a world class talent. Hence, stop hijacking and co-opting every Haley Reinhart reaction video thread to lobby for other PMJ music videos. If they were any good, they would attract and generate their own reaction videos

Really? PMJ is amazing. No, wrong! Haley Reinhart is amazing. As virtually all of Haley's videos have the most views on the PMJ KZfaq site not because Scott arranged them but instead, because Haley Reinhart, a world class vocalist, sang them and made them great. If Scott's arrangements were the reason, then all of PMJs music videos would all have the same level of views, but they don't. Not even close. Hence, you Morgan James fans need to stop hijacking and co-opting Haley Reinhart reaction videos on the false premise that PMJ is the reason why they are so great because that isn't in the least true. She remains an unknown and very obscure music artist to this day. Barely anyone knows of her. If she was famous, the reactor would have known who she is. However, like most people on the planet, he had never heard of her before. She gets zero recognition because she gets zero exposure and the reason why she gets zero exposure is because for years now she has refused to sign a record deal with a big major record label out of fear.

First off, listen to the original. It's "Creep" by a band called Radiohead. Just for reference. 2nd, PostModern Jukebox plays songs in (obviously) an old jazz band style. Lol. 3rd, you need to check out their version 9f "Mad World" with Haley Reinhart AND Puddles the Pity Party. Amazing.

As this video is being reacted to because it was flawlessly recorded by Haley Reinhart who is a world class talent. It's not being reacted to because it is a PMJ video In fact, it was Haley Reinhart who put PMJ on the map. As before Haley Reinhart arrived on the scene, PMJ played only tiny venues and cheap dives. Then shortly after Haley Reinhart arrived on the scene and recorded a few music videos with PMJ that all went viral, all of a sudden PMJ found themselves playing coliseums and arenas. Why? Because Haley Reinhart made PMJ and not the other way around. Hence, stop hijacking and co-opting nearly every Haley Reinhart music reaction video to lobby for other PMJ videos. I first heard this at my brother-in-law's wedding reception. There was a whole playlist of PMJ that played softly in the background while everyone ate, before the DJ kicked the dancing off. It gave the whole affair the feel of an upscale cocktail party, and I recognized the lyrics to All About That Bass and was like 'WTF?!" So this was the second song, and I made my husband go up and ask the DJ what this was. After that, we were fans! Love this!

PMJ is the creation and baby of Scott Bradlee, seen playing the piano. He is the one who does most of the arrangements. They use an ever rotating cast of musicians and singers. There are several amazing singers who preform with PMJ including Haley, Morgan James (check out her own channel too), Robyn Adele Anderson (again, check her own channel), and many others. Check out the cover of Stacy's Mom (ft. Casey Abrams, the Australian version), it's great.

Wow man you got me!!!! Morissette and Haley on the same Day!!! You are golden!!!! 2 of the greatest vocalist out there in the music world. So different and yet so amazing. Haley is like a fine whiskey soaked in silk and smoke. You could teach a master class on the vocal techniques she runs through. Haley has several with PMJ, Try her originals "I Don't Know How to Love You" and "Lay it Down" which shows her pure top end vocals.

Knew Scotty was going to win that season as soon as I saw his audition. Even though he was a one-trick pony, I just knew the fans were going to love him. Haley (and Casey, Pia, Thia, and James) finishing behind Lauren was a tragedy. I voted for Casey until he was eliminated, then I switched to Haley. Haley started off kind of slow, but she got stronger and stronger as the competition went along.

PMJ didn't make Haley great. Haley made PMJ great. Had Haley never arrived on the scene, PMJ would still be playing cheap dives and tiny venues and just like they were playing before Haley arrived. I told BTS V on a live he should check out Post Modern Jukebox when he was asking for song requests a few days later he posted a video of him singing to their video. I saw Scott Bradley from PMJ doing a live and told him. He said they became very popular in Korea after that. I love how you react to a variety because I love almost every genre. I was named after a Waylon Jennings song and fell in love with everything from jazz, swing, country, rap, metal and now kpop.

Kathy here - Creep was originally done by Radiohead - many covers have been done, but this one is by far my favorite. But you need to check out Brian Justin Crum - from American Idol - the cover he did of this song is amazing. And yes, her scatting is perfection. Check out her performances from American Idol. She didn't win but I think she should have. And loved the look on your face when she changed keys, the growl, and her runs. She is so much better than Adele in my opinion.

Haley Reinhart is by far the best vocalist to have ever performed with PMJ. She is also one of the best singers in the world that most people don't know about and the reason why hardly anyone knows who she is, is because she has been refusing to sign a record deal with a big major record label for years now out of fear. In any event, that cover of "Creep" you just reacted to stayed on the Billboard Digital Jazz Chart for 58 straight weeks and is also the first PMJ music video to surpass over 100 million views on KZfaq. Meanwhile, everything Haley did with PMJ is not only excellent but also the best of the best of PMJ. As her covers of "Seven Nation Army", "Oops, I Did It Again", and "Don't Speak" are all also off the charts. Hence, if you really want to treat your subscribers to some excellent covers, I highly recommend that you react to the above aforementioned. As Haley's vocals and performance skills will literally blow you and your subscribers away. Oh, one more thing, Haley recently did a performance of the jazz standard "Gee Baby, Ain't I Good To You" at the Kenosha Jazz Festival and it is the absolute best vocal of that jazz standard ever. Not to mention that the dress she was wearing that day looked like it was painted on her. Hence, I would highly recommend that you react to that one too. Especially while the KZfaq video of it is still going viral.

Yo just saw your reaction to Clouds by NF and have to come suggest two other artists that I think react channels sleep on. Tobe Nwigwe is the first, he got some traction with his song "EAT" but he also did a song with Royce and Black Thought called "Father Figure" Second artist is Rich Brian. His older stuff is more comedic but his newer stuff is significantly better. I recommend "Yellow" or "Slow Down Turbo" either way you have a new subscriber, love the videos!

The reality, moonbat, is this cover of "Creep" would not even be reacted to today if it wasn't for Haley Reinhart and her amazing world-class talent. In fact, Haley was not the first music artist to record "Creep" with PMJ. As a approximately seven months before Haley's version of "Creep" was recorded in Zurich, Switzerland, the original version of "Creep" was recorded with PMJ by Karen Marie. Indeed, it featured the exact same arrangement. Meanwhile, today that original version of "Creep" recorded by Karen Marie has a whopping 2.7 million views. Relative to Haley Reinhart's version recorded employing the same exact arrangement that has over 102 million views. Hence, if you think reactors are reacting to this video because of PMJ, then you are little more than a dumb wingnut.
