The wormy looking things poking out of the sand on the seafloor are Garden Eels! They poke their heads out to look for and catch food, while the rest of its body is hidden. They're called "Garden eels" because they live in groups and resemble a garden when they are all poking out of the sand at the same time :)

Humans are not shark food. When shark bite, most likely incident like that happens when you're surfing, which you look like a seal from under. And mostly these predators of the sea will not harm us unless provoked, or look similar to their meal (ex. a seal). I've swam with sharks and found a hammerhead shark on one of my dives. They just run away when you approach really.

The big silver fish with blue backs and yellow fins in the second current are Tuna fish :D They get huuuge and swim in large groups!

Fun fact, in the past a fisher man I believe caught one. But it was Massive. Like size of a cow, no joke, and yes Blue fin Tunas can get that big if they get a chance.

IGP I love this series and I hope you are enjoying the game, and not feeling pressured to complete things in certain episodes and just having fun. Also I believe the fish you ran into were barracudas, you know the super scary fish from the beginning of nemo, I have been watching your videos for about a year and can say that you keep improving keep it up 👍

The vaquita is actually an endangered species of porpoise. So it's similar to but not a dolphin. I actually think it might be the smallest porpoise. It's been a while since I read about the ocean last.

Humans created Abzû (that's what I'm calling the robot you play as) to explore the oceans, but Abzû became obsolete when they created suits for them but humans were wiped out by a unknown force. Then Abzû woke up from a mysterious refueling and used its previous goal and continued exploring using the MERs as help to explore.

IGP the vaquita is a brother species of the dolphins, the vaquitas are smaller (even smaller than a human diver) and it is a endangered species

Oh man I totally missed the Vaquita at 11:11 when we played! They're a porpoise, actually the smallest cetacean in the world at only about 4 feet long, and they're also the most endangered cetacean in the world - critically endangered :/ Also yes, I'm pretty sure the plural of nautilus is nautili.

I've seen orcas up close and personal not in SeaWorld actually up in Washington state it is quite a scene to see something so massive be so gentle

michael smith SeaWorld is not where orcas are supposed to be. The only reports of orca attacks are from places like SeWorld. The orcas literally go insane in captivity. They're meant to live in family pods of up to hundreds strong, and are meant to swim hundreds of miles every day. Orcas in captivity live at the longest to 40 years. Orcas in the wild live up to 100.
