Acaia Lunar Integration with Decent Espresso DE1 (w/Quirks)

A quick video showcasing the Lunar and DE1. You can hear how caffeinated I am in this video.
Just make sure you click the small box on the left-hand corner to ensure your scale is actually connected to your machine. The connection is instant and the scale is super responsive. Small white light on Lunar = connected to DE1.

So helpful. Just what I needed. i have decent/lunar and find the written instructions manuals online difficult to follow.

Do you have issues with it showing wrong blue line flow?

The good thing about Decent is they seem to be good with having built in compatibility for a few different Bluetooth scales as well I believe. Should also work with Felicita Arc (which is kind of a knock off of the Lunar it seems!) or the Hiroia Jimmy etc.

Note for anyone watching curious about buying -- Decent is currently making a scale -- release date TBD, but perhaps first quarter next year.

The video on the Decent Scale is out, gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with the aesthetic of it, which is no where near as elegant as the espresso machine itself nor the Acaia line of scales.

Does it actually stop at the target weight ? Your pull seems to show it stopped at 25 seconds instead of hitting the target weight?

Yeah it does. Sometimes it is off by .1g but generally speaking it'll stop within .5g of what you are doing. Most of my shots stop at 35.9/36 probably due to a rounding value/reading in the lunar

thanks for the informative video Brian. I'm about to order one. Do you need to pair the scale everytime you turn on the machine and scale from sleep mode?

@@brazilbairs the answer is yes. everytime you turn the scale you have to pair. You can do that from the espresso page. Only 1 click on the tab next to the graph

Yes works but size is not good. so need to look a small size scale with bluetooth.

I just bought one. Hoping it would and I'm having trouble connecting at the moment. I had to reset the app, and I can confirm it works with the decent. I power the scale on and after about 10 seconds it connects.
