I put a Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD in my Acasis 10-in-one and could not get my iPad Pro 12.9 to recognize the SSD. Finally went to the Apple Store for help. The lady at the store formated my SSD, plugged it in to my iPad went to files and there it was all 1 terabyte. Got home and uploaded 255 photos of my iPad on to the SSD in just a few seconds. So far I’m lovin it.

Found this reasonably priced little monster today. Included storage is like the biggest duh moment Ive had since i got my macbook. Foolishly paid 80 bucks for the apple branded dongle with one hdmi and one lonenly little usb-a port. Great review, thanks for posting!

Hi, I am rocking my M1 Macbook pro 512GB, I am currently looking for docking as most of the time I used the laptop connecting with a monitor. Do you recommend getting the Anker Powerexpand Elite docking station or getting this with an additional SSD Enclosure for future-proofing? Will it be able to last long term using the USB C hub 24/7? Will it get very warm after long time of using it?

What are your thoughts of the ACASIS 10 in 1 after having it for long time now? There are several complaints about it on Amazon that after long use, some ports do not work or the HDMI never really worked well. I was really looking forward to getting the ACASIS but cannot decide since there are complaints on Amazon about it? Your thoughts? Thank you

Thanks for watching and asking, Jedi F.! The drive I tried was from an old Laptop PC, VisionTek 1TB like amzn.to/3qCdELZ. I've tired my NVMe drives with similar results. Happy Holidays!

@@Tech4Baba Hey thanks for the response, happy holidays! Were the NVMe drives you tested PCIe Gen 3 or Gen 4? The transfer speed shown in your video is much higher than the M1-limited bandwidth mentioned in the product disclaimer in Acasis website (which is only 560MB/s)

I am also planning to get this for my M1 Macbook Air but I'm still looking for NVMe SSDs that can maximize transfer speeds. What other SSDs have you tested with this that have the same speeds?
