Asparagus is probably one of the easier veggies to take with you on all your catch and cooks. it can saute with some butter in the same pan as your fish. or even better, coat in butter/oil and roast it up on the campfire with your fish basket. Lol at everyone calling the lizard a blue tailed skink. Very common misconception, but it is actually a juvenile five-lined skink. The young ones have a blue tail that fades as they get bigger. The blue-tailed skink is an African species.

I think it would be a blast to take you over to Oregon on the Coast and Wilson River with my buddy that owns the Wilson River Lodge and has his own Guide Service. He's also on KZfaq as part of the Angler West TV Pro Team, his name is Dave Manners. People call him Big Dave Manners. He goes after salmon and steelhead and when the trip goes out to Tillamook Bay he sets out the crab traps as well. He also has a lodge in Alaska in a place where your arms get tired out from fishing for all the species of salmon.

Ace if your not going to keep the fish make sure to not let it touch the ground, it makes there protective coating wear off. And makes them exposed to disease.

Ace, that’s a blue tailed skink not a salamander. Salamanders are amphibians and require water to thrive but skinks don’t need water and their skin are tough and rigid not soft like a amphibian. You can identify a blue tailed skink with the blue tail and stripes on the back of them but common mistake. Great video ace u aced that catfish LOL.

Soak that catfish in salt water and vinegar and it’ll take that muddy taste out right away. Longer it’s in there, more fresh it will taste. Over night is perfect.

This is the best way to camp on the water. We actually take our 28ft out for days. TV out in the middle of a lake at night is the coolest feeling. I do like ours is closer to the water in the back. No aft cabin. Hope you had a blast!

In Oklahoma, we soak catfish in milk for 15 to 30 before breading and cooking. Removes smell and that odd taste from them.
