Landschaft - sehr abstrakt, sehr transparent, aufgebaut mit mehreren Lasurschichten. Das erzeugt eine schöne Tiefe und zart schimmernde Farben. Ich habe eine Weile überlegt, bis ich mir klar war, dass dieses Bild keine weitere Ausarbeitung braucht....
Landscape - very abstract, very transparent, built up with several layers of glaze. This creates a beautiful depth and delicately shimmering colors. I thought about it for a while before I realized that this painting doesn't need any further elaboration ....

Great technique thank you for sharing your ideas, beautiful finish and I suppose you could carry on with more and more layers and glazes, I've watched several of your videos and I think this technique is ny favourite so far, I love the transparent textures and subtle colours 👍

Enjoy your videos so very much! Thanks for your generosity in sharing your techniques - I have learned so much! I’ve tried the rubbing alcohol but didn’t get those lovely round circles. Noticed you using ethanol in another video and tried that, and didn’t get any circles either! Will keep trying! Thanks again!

Thank you! Most often it is because the paint is too watery or , on the contrary, is not sufficiently diluted. Maybe you do a few tests, then you find out what it depends on.

Gerda ti seguo sempre e imparo tanto anche se non commento spesso per via della lingua, che però serve a poco perché tu comunichi con l’arte che arriva sempre dove vuole arrivare. Vederti dipingere è come fare un viaggio ed entrare nella tua fantasia, nelle scelte geniali che fai tra una pennellata e l’altra, i gesti, i materiali vari che scegli per stendere il colore, per graffiare, per assorbire, per modellare, i colori ... Tu ci insegni a lasciarci andare con l’anima nell’atto di dipingere. Grazie per condividere tutto questo, che non è una semplice banale lezione, ma molto di più. Grazie

Wie eigentlich immer ein wunderschönes Bild, wobei ich das Gefühl habe, dass man die ersten drei bis fünf Schritte auch hätte weglassen können (nicht böse gemeint 😊)

Dann wäre es ein anderes Bild... Alles was darunter liegt, scheint in irgendeiner Form bis an die Oberfläche durch und verleiht dem Bild Tiefe... Im Video Bild ist das leider nur unzulänglich darzustellen. Ich finde jede Schicht wichtig...

Sehr schönes leichtes Bild. Zarte Farben wie bei einem Chiffonschal. Das gefällt mir sehr 😀. Ich würde zu gerne wissen, Gerda, wie der weiße Schleier gemacht wird? Wenn die Farbe nicht verdünnt wird, dann würde das Weiß doch eher deckend erscheinen, oder? Liebe Grüße von einer Anfängerin

Die Farbe wird mit einem feuchten Pinsel sehr dünn aufgetragen, sie kann bei Bedarf mit mattem Binder oder Malmittel verdünnt werden

Was ist bitte Acrylbinder? Gibt es da eine bestimmte Marke?

Acrylbinder ist eine Acryldispersion. Sie wird zur Herstellung von Acrylfarben benutzt, ist nach dem trocknen wasserfest und transparent. Man bekommt sie im Fachhandel oder online-Handel

Dear Gerda, I have been watching all your KZfaq videos and I have loved each one. You work very hard. I know that every painting you start,you yourself have no certain plan ...the painting leads you to a wonderful end. This particular painting I think did not lead you.....therefore the results are a bit confusing and not too positive.....thank you
