Congrats...I got a 2023 Acura TLX A spec up here in Canada in summer .Great car. Had a 2007 Accord coupe before, bought new and still have it as a 2nd vehicle for our winters.

Hope you been enjoying the Type S man. I finally ended up going with the Type R myself and it’s been really dope. I was 50/50 on which one I wanted for the longest but what did it for me is really the interior of the R. The seats are just to die for and the racing style odometer reminds me so much of the S2000. I also realized the Type R is going to have better resale value to years down the line. That was the icing on the cake for my decision. They both are beastly to drive at the end of the day.

Congrats, what a lovely spec! Seen 1 or 2 around in WA state but the owners decided to straight pipe them with the most ricer accessories slapped on making them instantly undesirable. This car close to stock with a louder exhaust is perfect.

worth the wait ! these cars would just sit on lots and all the SUCKERS who could not wait paid markups etc! congrats! Funny how these dealers want to make a QUICK BUCK! but forget that customers who get a great experience are more likely to comeback and recommend the dealer to others by word of mouth!

Save your money on PPF...turns yellow and can peel your paint when it's that time to peel off...in other words...it does more damage than good

PPF does not increase the value of the car that’s for sure. Even if you have a few chips or scratched in the older car most people don’t care it’s a mass produced vehicle at the end of the day

I don’t know about better engine, it’s a different car for a different purpose. I see the TLX-s as executive performance. The ITS is purely driving enjoyment

Congratulations it’s been a long journey!!! I would like to preface this by saying both the Type S and Type R are both awesome cars!!! I would strongly advise you against the aftermarket carbon fiber wing… But it’s your car so do what you will with this info… So despite it being an “Acura dealer installed accessory” it is very poorly executed in design… First off the mounting holes from the original factory wing and this carbon fiber wing do not match!!! So what this means is they will now drill 2 more holes in your brand new cars trunk!!! Which makes absolutely no sense that these 2 Acura branded parts don’t use the same holes to attach them. Then and this is if the tech that installs it does this step… is they put a piece of tape over the old holes… yes a just piece of tape man 😢. Why Acura why??? Who’s idea was this?? So you will now have 4 holes in your trunk lid for a wing that only requires 2… and if the pieces of tape were in fact used to “cover” the unused holes how long until they will fail and let water in your trunk?? The illuminated door sills are another poor design as they just run the wires over the door sill in direct contact with the metal which in time will eventually rub through the wires and cause a short… For a car with a MSRP of $52k and these being Acura’s own parts it’s a real disappointment. Along with the stick on fender flares on the rear doors as opposed to stamping it in the sheet metal like the Type R…

Thanks for letting me know about the wing I already purchased it with the car so it’s mine, but I may take a wiser approach to installation now with thanks to you. And the rest of the accessories I got I wanted, which is the all weather mats, mud guards and CF spoiler. The door sills and some of the other accessories I wasn’t a fan of. But thank me again for the advice

Really glad to see you got the car you wanted and I am looking forward to the future content with you and the car. The Type S is a sweet ride 👍. AHC Garage has a channel on here showing some of these accessories and how they are installed 🫣 There’s also a few videos of them installing a few go fast goodie’s and getting one tuned and I’ll just say it is quite impressive what these engine’s are capable of 😎. The accessories videos as of today are 6months back and the upgrade videos are 2 months back and the dyno tune is a month back. Enjoy brother
