Alcohol is the start of all failures. Please I beg y’all , stay away from that evil stuff. If you’ve never taken drugs before, you can avoid it for the rest of your life by staying away from alcohol. Alcohol leads to drugs, gambling, homelessness and premature death. You don’t need it in your life to function. Exercise will give you the rewards your brain needs not booze and drugs. You are all in my prayers.

I was using in june if 2018, but I got clean in August 27 2019 and have been clean since

24:45 "My disease continues to get worse, even though I'm NOT using." Sobriety doesn't "slow" the disease down, or "cure" you from it. The degenerative nature of this disease isn't as well known as it needs to be.

This is so heart wrenching and hopeful at the same time. I'm 16 days clean after a horrendous year long relapse with heroin and I can identify with some of her story. But the feelings we all have are basically the same. And we hit our head against that wall over and over again. Some of us make it. Some of us don't . All we have is today. I don't know why I'm writing this. I guess it's because in this moment I am grateful to be sober today. Thank you Erica. I wish you the best.

I was a user and now I’m clean 15 months, I remember my dad told me, ,, just remember if you going to let that devil again in your life it’s going to be way stronger and harder ‘’ that is scared me I don’t want ever let devil in my life again because he will not stop till he will ruin me

I would suggest working a 4th step and getting rid of your resentments...
