The depressing part about adept killer isn’t the killers with weak powers or the killers with bad perks it the survivors that give up and you cant get enough hooks for the iri emblem when you are Iridescent rank

One minute and a half: survivor explained, it's easy but you can make it easier with items The other hour: "killers are a little bit more complicated"

I wish they would just remove this "merciless killer" requirement, make it a 4k requirement and it would be much easier and more like the survivor adepts. I did all of the adepts and the killer ones were absolute torture sometimes.

Been having trouble getting adept on oni, hopefully these tips bring me sweet victory!

One tip that I've found to help alleviate the insta-down penalty towards the chaser emblem for many killers is to feed into borrowed time hits. Those hits will count as winning the chase for chaser and their mending action will not add towards the healing penalty that applies towards your malicious emblem. I don't believe there's a downside to hitting a survivor with endurance, which should happen even more often with the base kit changes in the next patch.

Even tho I did every adept there, I'm still going to watch whole, because the content is gold

I wish they had it in the game, that you get bonus exp or bp or something for only running the three teachables. It would give people more of a reason to run perks that they would never use. It would give experienced players a little challenge with a reward (that would of course be the case in general but I tend to see more experienced players get bored and trying to find new things to do) and it would just in general change up some games (not saying it will change the whole game experience but it will definitely change one or another match)

I know that I'm not the best at killers, but this guide is very helpful for someone even with over 2k hours. I've already got 3 survivors done, now I have to try to work on killers. Thanks Otz. After watching this video i got adept on trapper on my second try! Used a midwitch offering and honing stone + bloody coil because i had no trapper sacks left and i find it fairly easy to find traps on midwitch, plus it is nice to be able to pick traps back up in the mid to endgame when survivors allready know about your trap spots. Helps you change things up a little bit :)

Been holding off on getting killer adepts for a while, may start giving them a real shot now thanks to this guide.

How to get adept with ghostface: 1 get into a game 2 go into your power 3 you hear footsteps 4 you get snapped out of your power 5 the one who did this starts to teabag and click 6 you realized your power is taken hostage 7 get genrushed while desperately try kill the guy who is following you 8 end game begins 9 survivors are teabagging at exit gates 10 you watch them leave with 0 hooks 11 they spam ez at the chat 12(edit) you see them running prove thyself, unbreakable, dead hard deliverence and ds 13: the one who did that is a subtle cheater that targets you Note: This also works for hag, trapper and twins so enjoy getting bullied with your killer unless you are a nurse, freddy, dredge or spirit

Doing the adepts back when Red Ranks were still a thing was awesome. It was so hard and I like that it forced me to “get good.” With killers. I felt I actually did something Adept with my killer’s base kit. And I actually got my adept for nurse playing Single Blink Matchbox on a map the survivors sent me to. It is quite random whether or not you will get it. And even if you 4K, there’s a good chance you missed the mark for the adept in some category.

I took your add on suggestion for Trickster, got sent to Lery's so they actually helped me still get it on that horrible map for him. Thank you so much for the helpfull video!

31:30 another great add-on for Legion is Stolen Sketch Book. After this video, I played a couple of games with the Never-Sleep Pills and easily 3-4k'd. It's definitely a slightly different playstyle and if the survivors run very early, getting your first hit in can be rough, but it snowballs so hard. Almost every chase ended with me chaining 5 hits and downing someone. I run the pills almost every game now and if the survivors have a lot of items, I bring the Sketch Book. It acts a bit like Franklin's and can really mess up the survivors if they were relying on medkits/toolboxes.

I honestly feel like instead of fighting the emblem system, the adept should be kill all 4 survivors by your hand using your killer’s 3 teachables. It seems more in line with the survivor adepts.

I used to watch your Dark Souls videos back in the day, but when I realized you started playing this game years later, I got interested, but the game seemed too hard for me to play so I watched for the time being. After looking through all your videos on it, I decided to get it once I got a newer laptop. I've been playing for about a year now, but only recently started trying for the adepts on killers before realizing you posted this. So I wanted to share my statistics for the killers I play in the order I got the achievements. (The adepts weren't as hard as I thought they'd be, but they still take a lot of work to micromanage.) Wesker - Father Campbell's Chapel - 2nd try. (No add-ons) Deathslinger - Midwitch - around 4-5th try. (Probably rusted spike and modified ammo belt) Huntress - RPD - 1st try. (Leather loop) Wraith - Thompson House - 1st try. (Shadow dance white and shadow dance blood) Hillbilly - Midwitch - 3rd try. (Steeltoe boots and heavy clutch) Oni - Suffocation Pit - 3rd try. (Polished maedate and paper lantern) Clown - RPD - 2nd try. (Sticky soda bottle and party bottle) Plague - The Game - 5th try. (Emetic potion) Trapper - Wreckers Yard - 1st try. (Iridescent stone and honing stone) Nemesis - RPD - 1st try. (Marvin's blood and serotonin injector) Pyramid Head - Can't remember the map - 4th try. (Black strap and wax doll) Demogorgon - Wreckers Yard? - 2nd try. (Leprose lichen and barb's glasses) (Technically one stack for the Tools of the Trade.) Then for the Tools of the Trade - 7 tries. Wraith, you don't need to really worry about chaser since you should be cloaked most of the time, so you'll have what the game sees as tons of 5 second chases that you all won, and the chaser emblem gets tons of progress from winning short chases

Awww :( I kinda wish you still would've explained Demo even though they don't have the adept opportunity achievement now. It would still be fun to do since the perks do the same things they used to (for now) when they were tied to the character and it could just be a personal achievement :)

For Wraith I also really love Bone Clapper to confuse survivors, paired with "Blind Warrior" - White. I got my adept with this :)

After getting the Adept for Trickster when he dropped I decided to try out Twins and was able to get their Adept on my first game and the same with Onryo. It was a good feeling. Roughest Adept I've had was with Nemesis.

I’ve found that Midwich is probably the best map for Nemesis simply because the tight loops and corridors make the zombies hugely valuable

the initial nemesis build you showed worked great for me, i utterly despise map offerings tho so i just got a bloody party streamer and did a 4k on The Game

got myers earlier today, just prior to this videos release. Myers was so difficult from his only one great perk, and chaser emblem was my kryptonite atm im missing plauge, bubba, freddy, and wraith. Hopefully this helps me compelte the rest of those im missing, because i feel like i do so well and get ruthless. I've been congratulated in endgame chat by survivors who thought i got an adept when i didnt lol

Be wary of third seal on hag, the main advantage of it in most matches is that people can’t find hooks, but in adept this backfires severely. Additionally, instadowns mess with Chaser, so in general it might be better to get a few totems cleansed, despite how good ruin is.

Your trapper video really helped me. I got alot survivors in my traps but the game ended a bit too quick. Even tho i didnt camp, had 2 gens left and got 9 hooks i still didnt get merciless. I will just try again on midwich

For trickster, actually iri photo card is really easy way to get his adept, that plus the shoes. You just knife them, then chase then for as long as you can before they get to a pallet or the knife expires then hit them. Got it first try and was pretty easy to abuse and still got full chaser. Just back off Midvale when like two people alive then you are garunteed because of no way out one you hook the last guy and the other need to either rescue or do exit gates

I think a few of the dwights I've been killing took your "you're not allowed to take a fourth perk" statement literally.

Ghostface adept felt impossible for me. I eventually did it with philly and his common shroud recovery add-on while on Badham. Unfortunately, a Nea dc’d on her first down; so I had to play a little mean. Don’t be afraid to play a little dirty and slug for an extra down/tunnel a survivor. Just be careful doing so; because if you get to 2 survivors, they might kill themselves on hook for the hatch. Personally, I recommend getting 3 survivors on death hook before getting the 2nd kill because of giving hatch up. Regardless, goodluck to all of you trying adept!
