This is a fun drive on a quad or side by side. It can get a bit dusty, so wear a mask.

VERY NICE ! We visited Samara Beach, and were pleased that good paved roads lead there from the city of Nicoya. I don't think our Toyota Yaris rental car could have made the beachfront trip that you took ! (ps - any updates on the "Retiree Law", and when it will become effective ?) Thanks !

How long is that drive? Is it shorter than the 3 h from google maps? Good travels

It is about 30 minutes less but much more wear and tear on the vehicle due to the condition of the road. The safer bet is to follow the Google maps route.

Twitter owner building a hotel? Santa Teresa is doomed, not the same place anymore; next will be Nosara. 😭

Hi Thanks for your point of view. I think he purchased a hotel and is converting the property to his personal residence. Santa Teresa and Nosara have both become "trendy" and thus extremely expensive so many changes going on.
