Please join us as we visit beautiful Falmouth in Cornwall, south England, Asha leave the ship to fly to Poland and Mark sails Altor singlehanded from Falmouth to Eastbourne and beyond!.
Filmed in November 2022 using a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000, Samsung Galaxy S10, a Rhode microphone and edited with iMovie.

As I write this comment I am back in Poland again to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday but going back home soon, and hopefully making a trip to Largs! I am glad Asha got her tooth sorted. Best dentist I ever had was Polish, wonderful man, never felt a thing. Worth travelling that far for a good dentist. Glad that this season has last into the winter. Keep up the good work.

Hello 🙃 Thank you so much! Yes, my teeth are all back to normal and I am very happy to I could go to Poland to sort it out. Don't want to tar every dentist with the same brush, just want to say that I prefer the chosen and proven one. Yes, Season 3 lasted longer than expected but we picked a scenic route so delays were calculated in. Wishing you all the best! Asha & Mark

Mark travelled for a few days to my homeland for the first time, met my family and got to experience lovely snowy Polish winter. We flew back to England together. We are both doing well, thank you. I wasn't happy at all leaving Mark and Altor, but time flies by and it was great to collect him few weeks down the line from the airport in Poland and then fly together back to Altor. Great vlog as usual. Regarding being a wafi I notice fishing boats in our area putting up small sails to help reduce their fuel bills. We may even see a return to sailboat fishing. Hope Asha gets her teeth sorted I thought dentists were expensive anyway but travelling back to Poland that is expensive. Hope she has a loyalty card with them. Take care, stay safe and be happy

That's funny about the fishing boat, after all, we are all the same - fishing boats with sails and sailing boats with engines 😁🤪 As for the cost of travelling back to Poland to see a dentist I must put you mind at ease - the flights and visit cost less than a preliminary dental visit and treatment in UK. Plus I get to see my family - priceless bonus.

@@chris-yale Hi Chris :) Thanks, I knew you would believe me ;) the dental treatment didn't require a recovery, all went smooth! Well, we'll sail out of the River Crouch and turn left - the call of the North is very strong and we must subdue. This year we are returning to our favourite Faroe Islands, then heading for the beluga sanctuary of the south-west cost of Iceland, then we're going to circumnavigate Iceland, do more of land sightseeing and hopefully visit Greenland for the first time! Med gotta wait ;)

Asha seemed very sad to leave you ☹️ Hope she got her 🦷 fixed. You mentioned South but love the North. Would love to see you both at some point go down to the Mediterranean Sea. Happy new year Gary

Hi Gary 🙃 Yes, I was really sad to leave Mark and Altor, especially before reaching our winter berth. A bit of a consolation was that we made it around Lands End. In a couple of months we'll be sailing out of the River Crouch and turning left heading for our beloved northern countries again so no Med this season yet 😉 However we are planning to visit new and amazing places! Also single handing, I got tangled with a pot buoy outside Eastbourne right by the safe water mark, luckily the cutter eventually took care of it, but a scary moment and nearly an RLNI callout. The fisherman might be a nice guy, but who in the right mind leave buoy next to a safe water mark!
