I also felt A.I. didn't look a lot like Blade Runner, there was that alley Gigolò Joe walks down to before the scene of him getting framed that DID look like 2019 Los Angeles a bit, but aside from that the rest of the movie doesn't and Rouge City is a lot neon, tidy and has those naked women-shaped buildings, not much Blade Runner in that. However Duncan Jones' "Mute" is the latest blatant Blade Runner wannabe. I really hope it's the last one that uses this style, there's many ways you can do a dystopia or a SciFi setting, BR isn't the only option. Same way I hope The Cloverfield Paradox is the last SciFi thriller that blatantly looks like Alien.
