Once again I find myself the recipient of great kindness! With thanks and eternal gratitude to my mysterious and very special dinosaur-loving friend in California (you know who you are!) What an incredible selection of figures I now have the honour and privilege to add to my collection! 🦖🦕💖

Thank you very much 🤗🦕 Haha, mum loves bright and weird and wonderful things and this is just so perfectly her choice that I will treasure it 💖 It's a perfect reminder of a wonderful day out, indeed the first trip she's ever had to the lake district!

Fantastic and nice to see someone else being excited at getting a plastic dinosaur. I got the invicta figures about 34 years ago, which re-sparked my interest in dinos and prehistoric things (although it never really went away), they're still great despite some of the understandable inaccuracies. The Battat Ouranosaurus, Styracosaurus and Maiasaura are some of my favourites but sooooo difficult to get hold of at a sensible price (I'v resorted to making my own 1:40 sculptures out of polymer clay. I'm not sure being forced to be creative is a bad thing though =¬)).

I certainly feel very honoured to have been granted these wonderful figures! 💖 They're so beautiful, as well as representing species which are all too often overlooked. Maiasaura is an icon, a real dinosaur superstar, and yet it's so rare to see it in toy form, let alone as good as this! Battat blow my mind. Yes the figures are a little dated, yet they're not as dated as they should be, given that they're at least quarter of a century old. For example, the keratinous extension of the beak of the Maiasaura is way ahead of its time! Amazing stuff 🤯

How fun!! What a great video! Please let me know if you figure out what brand that Allosaurus is. I’d love to get my hands on that one.

Thank you! The Allosaurus (and the little blue Ceratosaurus) feels like resin, I think they may be 3D printed 🤔 There are no seam lines or branding on them at all! If I find out where they're from I'll certainly let you know 😊🦖

Aww! Your cat in the background is adorable. I hope he/she doesn’t knock anything off your shelves. As a collector and cat-owner, what advice would you give regarding preventing cats from knocking items (including collectibles) off shelves? I don’t have a cat myself, but I’d love to have one at some point.

Thank you for noticing her! She's called Tallulah 😊 We also have a younger one called Spooky. We're very lucky that they don't climb much or deliberately push things off shelves! However I do keep most of my collection in a cabinet behind glass doors. I also have to be very careful with certain figures as Tallulah has been known to have a nibble of them..! She nipped the end off one of the frill horns on my CollectA Deluxe Styracosaurus once when my back was turned 😵 So I keep all Styracosaurus figures behind glass doors!

@@aeonfire82 Smart move; I have quite a few PNSO figures myself, and I love them too much to let any curious felines touch them and come the time I have my own home, I’m definitely buying a glass door cabinet to display my figures, especially ones that are light enough for a cat to knock over. Also, Tallulah is a cute name for a cat. And I bet Spooky has an ironic name to anyone who isn’t a small bird or rodent (since a lot of cats are soooo cute!)

An extra benefit of keeping them behind glass is that they don't need to be cleaned as frequently 😊 Tallulah had her name when we got her, she was my good friend's kitten but proved too much for her allergies, so we took her! Spooky us named after my childhood cat, she was my best friend, and now her namesake is 😊💖
