Speaking of silicones. Can you do a more in depth video of silicones? Which ones to use, how to use, what products to use with it or to wash it out. How they effect different porosities, densities, hair types. And which of those are the best fit for silicones....etc.

Well I’m in the Caribbean (Barbados🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧) and these are my low budget go to. I’m low porosity and 4c type. Agreed on the Detangler, not really a hit, but the Shampoo, Leave in, Mask and Curl Activator are great on my hair! I’ve got my mom on it as well, but her hair is high porosity and a 3b? Lol but what she uses is the Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave in & Curl Activator. Since the Curling Jelly came out after the full line I’ve yet to try it but these products work great! Great for color treated hair as well, as I’d transitioned from that using these same products, helps colour to last much longer. I’m done raving now 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I could have clicked out, mentally, at Coconut Oil. You always educate so I engage. I just chopped 8 inches off my high porosity hair. Michigan weather and indoor heating helped with that decision. Struggle to keep moisture locked in my very fine strands. I miss my hair. Yes, it seems, I am emotional.... Maybe I am emotional but I am not an ole fool. No reason to keep the length if it's drying out.

There's a leave-in for this line. Surprisingly, I love it! I love/need thick & creamy products, too! The leave-in is creamy, but in a spray bottle 😱. I prefer masks to rinse out conditioners, but I don't like this mask 😞. The twisting butter is good, very moisturizing. So, the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in & butter are a win! I still need to try the activator. Oh & the detangler is decent.

You are a hair, heart, and pocketbook saver! 🤎🤎🤎 I got the non-coconut line after chatting with you about foaming with conditioner. I switched to crème of nature Plex line ( pre-treatment, shampoo & conditioner). It does not have a styler, but I’m gonna wait till you do a vid on options. 😉 However, I am using Curl Peace Slime Styler cause you featured it and my hair is liking it. But so far, the twisting cream from this line has been excellent for me 🤷🏿‍♀️

Sometimes when I look at you or your oldest daughter I feel like I've found hair texture siblings. Seattle is not overly humid, it's somewhere in the middle humidity wise. In the past when I've traveled to Kauai my curls are moisturized and happy. Now going into spring, we'll see what I need for products in addition to getting a haircut. Argh. I need something easy but I realize when the seasons change I might need to tweak my product regimen. I have a lot of different skin care and make-up in my cabinets. I'm trying to be more minimalist and failing. 🙂

I came across this product and decided to give it a try. It was sold as a package deal that included at least five products: shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, mask, twisting cream, and a trial pack of 100% of African Shea Butter. All for $32 and some change. I’ve used the shampoo, and it is rich and creamy; I haven’t used the others but will later this week. Thank you for the information about the product.✌️❤️

I think I have 4c hair. My hair is shoulder length, but after washing and drying it's shrinks so close to my head. I take different meds which can add to hair loss, no edges on the side and bald spots. I was using Just Nutritive products, it worked well for 7 months, then my hair/scalp got use to it now that doesn't work. But to hear the way you explained the ingredients really helped a lot.

One of the best things to try and learn is your color wheel. It will help with makeup and haircolor chapters. Aside from that, just know that you will have to study some anatomy, but I have tons of hair tutorials for cosmetology students that can help you get a running start.

💫✨ BRILLIANT!!! PERIODTTT 🔴‼️ I appreciate your video sooooo much; the breakdown of the products was so easy to comprehend. (Earmark of a great teacher) 🍎 I’m also excited bc I’m also subscribed to Curly Chemistry! I’m not content to just ‘look cute’. I need to understand the science behind products I put on my hair and scalp, and how they contribute to my overall well-being. Thank you also for mentioning a credible trichologist bc I have an extremely sensitive scalp (💧water = ouch & itch; add products = 💊 Benadryl 🤪 buzz). I’m excited to temper what I extract from the three of you with at-home care as well as supervision of my (🧬🔬) GP. Apologies for this being long, yet sketchy... I’m just excited 😆 and encouraged and appreciative. Wishing wellness, happiness, and safety for you and your family! 💫✨

This was an on point review of these products. I have 4c hair and believe I am low porosity. My hair loves creamy conditioners, shampoos, leave-in and etc. and the hot head cap and steamer are me best friends. I said all that to say, my hair loves the shampoo, conditioner and curl activator (GlamFam, you are so right and not using the activator and cold weather. Now I know not to full ham using it; I am heavy handed on products). I am still testing the deep conditioner. I don’t like the leave-in for my hair. Thanks for deep dive!!!!
