Dear Christian, I understand, speak (with native speakers, without problems) and even write in English (if necessary) for many years... However, I can't stop enjoying your videos, not because of the classes themselves, but simply because you are a philosopher... I love listening to you and I would like to one day become a person as valuable as you r!!! Thank you for existing! Dear friend!!!

Thank you very much for this video!! Today I am feeling so awful because I made a mistake in front of an audience (I didn't understand the question that someone posed to me, but instead of saying "I am sorry, could you repeat?" I gave a completely wrong answer). I felt so embarrassed and frustrated that I decided never to speak in English in public. But then, after watching your video, I changed my mind.

As for communication skills I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process in English and other languages.😊😊

Christian, criticism towards Ana Botella was not only due to her strong Spanish accent. A political representative of Madrid should speak English much better. In addition, she was not loved by many people because she was the Mayor of Madrid thanks to his husband José María Aznar who was the president of Spain.

Hello Mr Canguro. I hope that your "cousins" will stop taunting you Aussies because of Australian accent. Your English is movingly beautiful and you are highly educational. Most of all, your insightful and intelligent attitude to teaching and discussing subjects is your key to popularity. Brutta figura means "to cut a sorry figure or to put your foot in it, viceversa your manners lead you to come across as pleasant or impressive". Bella/brutta figura doesn't refer to a person but to their behaviour. Thanks for encouraging people to learn English! I wish you a rewarding and happy day! Giorgio 🙂

Dear Christian As an Italian, I did appreciate the use you made of "brutta" and "bella" figura! The video also confirmed that your approach to (teaching and) learning English as a second language is definitely "human" and deeply motivating at the same time. Nonetheless, I have to tell there's a typo at the beginning of the video ("l'inimico" is incorrect: you should have used "nemico" instead)
