BA4 and 5 are spreading like wildfire. More than half of the people I known who’ve flown in the last month have gotten COVID. There are concerns about repeated infections leading to lifelong chronic health issues. Doctors here in the US are despairing that we’ve surrendered to COVID. I’m not so sure the dropping of masks in airports and airplanes will turn out to have been a wise choice. I don’t know. We’ll see.

On the aesthetics side the colors of the cabin are absolutely stunning. Its not the bland colors that some airlines have yet not loud. The uniforms of the cabin crew are also very chic and compliment the cabin.

My favorite video by you so far! I travel a lot and always want to go to new places but I'm terrified of flying so it's really nice to see you normalize (if you can say that?) these rare airlines that many would probably consider dangerous. Watching your videos definitely tones down my fear a lot. And I agree with what you said about people being a bit too sensitive nowadays, here's to hoping you won't get cancelled haha ✌️

I live in Hawaii. I have a friend who comes over often for business for only a couple of days at a time. We were talking 2 days ago about how we have also noticed a change in people's attitudes towards each other in the last 2 years. We decided it was due to the political situations in the West. Every Western country seems to have been effected.

People in the U.S. have become downright uncivilized. the turbulance may have caused such an excessive motion that it caused the a319's autopilot to switch off. that couldve also triggered a switch or wire to be slightly offput to turn of the lights but the beeping was prob just the autopilot disconnect.
@sav47
@sav47 2 жыл бұрын
The autopilot disconnect aural warning will not be heard all the way in the back of the cabin. Most likely a smoke alarm going off in one of the lavatories due to a faulty smoke detector.

Oui oui; yeah what to think of the attitude, i'd agree you expect a warm welcome and a smile, so perhaps they haven't been trained properly or perhaps you could say arrogant French way, allthough i never feel that ever when flying for example Air France, allways excellent service with a big smile and that goes for pretty much all french flights i have done except for Air Transat from Montreal, a bit like your flight(s), arrogant service and just not caring what they are doing. On a good note: Love your flights it allways makes us feel we are sitting right next to you... keep up the smiles in the high skies Josh!

I've never been to anywhere in French speaking Africa so I can't say whether rudeness is a cultural phenomenon there or not, but at least your flights were on time and the aircraft were in good operating condition. It's great to see African countries investing in their airlines and operating them with modern aircraft and safety/maintenance that meets or exceeds industry standards. It's also great to see a country like Senegal building a new, modern airport.

I am an European married with a Tanzanian and some people (not Africans) believed that me dressing up with maasai clothes, which is the tribe my husband is part of is cultural appropriation and a lack of respect while my tanzanian family and also just random people from the street over there loved it and cheered it...
