Erik Danielsson talks about how fans of Watain are able to spot black metal traditions in their music, their appreciation for it as a genre and their mission to educate and be ambassadors for it. Interview conducted at The Opera House on February 25, 2018 while the band was in Toronto on tour with Destroyer 666 and Revenge.

When I saw Watain, I actually met Eric. He actually gave me a lecture about this to me. He spoke a few words to other people. But he spent 5 minutes with me. At first I felt honored. Later I felt like he was actually crazy. Then I thought some more and realized that he's just frisky passionate about it and wants people to remember what black metal is about. And for that, I like that

highly doubt hes wearing a levi's jacket. those are so dumb over price just for the brand name. you're better off buying a leather jacket off of a metal store or jacket store.

I don't think it's Lewis, neither Perfecto. Most of swedish death/black metal bands wearing leather jackets like the one he wears. I noticed the late David Parland has the same jacket like Erik's.

@@ceravakian361 There are a ton of leather jacket brands that sell the same jacket in different styles. i got my Leather jacket from a local metal store but the brand of it is FMC.

@@MultiZoXx im bad with math,have been studying occultism for 3 and a half years and never really looked to hard into numerology.To busy on demonology and chasing the devils tail back as far as I can go.So many tricky wrong turns in the whole feild of occult wisdom is there a book you could recommend to help a keen studier.Or could you tell me a few key things to start with for my piece of mind and get back on the right path,please?
