This second virtual meetup was part of a special series that looks at how we can use the Agile mindset and different Agile practices to respond to the coronavirus crisis - which for many of us represents one of the biggest disruptions to both our working and home life
In this webinar, we explored How Agile Helps you Make Tough Decisions in the workplace. So, we looked at topics such as ruthless prioritisation and how we achieve this by clearly defining the value that we need to deliver at any point in time. This then allows us to shift capacity, alongside our energy and time to focus on the most valuable pieces of work and of course build a human response to how we keep our organisations running day to day or for some of us, literally keep the business alive in the face of a total shutdown in operations.
Our guest speakers were Phillip Gill (Director of LMA Consulting) and Carol Morley (Program Director of People & Culture at Tabcorp). The work that both Phillip and Carol are doing has been impacted by the coronavirus crisis and many thanks to them for taking the time to share their knowledge and experience.
Phillip has been involved in the NHS Nightingale hospital project, in the UK. He and his team have designed and implemented access control to the sites and at such short notice that they have been working in 1-day sprints!
Carol was in the middle of a major culture change project and had to completely pivot to work on a people tracker and employee helpline.
