Every night I watch and listen to the old "Sultans of Swing", Mark with his head band on and his sexual smirk on his face. . .Well, I am 86 years old now, and he will be forever my absolut favorite solo Guitarist This performance is just a tip to slow for me......he transformed me into a very young woman half of my life ... when I would be his stylist, I would still try to keep his appearance alive by putting him in a modern silk T-shirt instead of a suit ....and a head band. Well - - just a dream.

Quel super concert. Chanceux les gens qui étaient là. Mark knopfler à vraiment une "patte inimitable" reconnaissable entre mille. Il est avec David Gilmour un de mes guitaristes préférés. Avec quelques autres, aussi singuliers également comme l'excellent Bryan May, Joe satriani, Steve vaï, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix.... Et j'en oublie. Pardon je m'égare. Merci Mark pour toute ton œuvre, avec Dire Straits, en solo, avec des guests parfois., et toujours avec des musiciens talentueux. Merci pour Ride Across the river sur l'album brother in arms. Merci pour tout, et que cela dure encore longtemps 🙏🙏🎸🎸

Niemand muss sich für seine Straße, seinen Weg "entschuldigen", subjektiv gibt es ehedem keinen besseren. Den Rest müssen die Nachkommen entscheiden, vielleicht entschuldigen. Aber über das, was ich von M.K. und zuvor auch D.S. gehört habe, freue ich mich bis heute, natürlich auch sehr alt geworden. Freue mich, wenn heute und danach was bei Menschen mit alten und völlig neuen Problemen ankommt. Für mich: War sehr faul, und mich nicht arg bemüht, Fremdsprachen als Schüler über das nötigste hnaus zu erlernen. Manchmal habe ich nur Musik und Instrumente versucht, an mein Herz heranzulassen. Mark Knopfler und seinen Gitarren ist es über Jahrzehnte gelungen. Respekt und Glück Auf von der Ruhr!!!!

Quel grand guitariste et compositeur. Ce que je trouve admirable chez Knopfler est sa simplicité et sa modestie qui mettent si bien en valeur son immense talent. Pas d'artifice, pas de superficiel, lui et tous ses musiciens brillent par leur talent. De la belle musique, immortelle et indémodable. Merci de partager ce concert.

Ich bin bereits seit vielen Jahren ein großer Fan der Dire Straits und Mark Knopfler und ich muss sagen, der Mann wird immer besser. Das ist eigentlich unmöglich , denn da müsste er mal Mittelmaß gewesen sein. Da er aber schon immer einer der Besten, der Besten war, ist kaum noch eine Steigerung möglich. Er schafft es jedoch immer, mir mit seinen Liveauftritten eine Gänsehaut zu bereiten......

Listening to Mark brings me back to the early carefree college days, and just a few years after, when he left Dire Straits to pursue works on his own. His work w/ Chet Atkins, Nottingham Hillbillies in the early 90’s brings back bittersweet yet cherished memories. Some folks have comfort food, listening to Mark for me is comfort music.

Je dois dire que moi j'ai de souvenirs chéris de Mark. Comme les autres j'ai suivé sa musique et même je dois dire que ce sont les morceaux que j'ai dans ma tête et pour toujours ce sont les originaux qui reste et pour toujours. Les souvenirs d'en autre temps dans ma vie. Il y avait longtemps je suis allé à un concert de Mark à Genève avec mon fils, maintenant qui a 50ans et est musicien professionnel en place a Genève et partout en Suisse et ici en France. Ce concert de Mark a --excusez moi ce nest pas un pun -marqué moi- je crois le meilleur concert de ma longue vie. Merci Mark. J'ai des larmes a l'oeil, avec joie, quand j'ecrire ces lignes de vrai gratitude a toi. God Bless you. And that's all from an expatriot écossais ici en France...

Mark is incredible. Someone on here said he looks old - well surprise, surprise he is!! Older he may be, but his voice sounds just as strong and incredible as in the 70's. I love that Mark is playing a Les Paul for much of this show... I've just always felt like that is the guitar that him the most dynamic range with his fingerstyle playing... I only remember it in two reocordings that I could recognize... Money for Nothing and my favorite song of his "Brothers in Arms" ..... his touch is still quite magical....

In the circumstances of this year, Mark's last year tour was probably the one last before he retires! Respect for touring at his age like still being so everlasting young as his music... I say that in these concerts, his music is so much better than on many studio records, supported by great band of musicians, who he gathered. So authentic!

I also regret it was his last tour... I love all his song since I was 15 (1989) when I learned guitar. I hope he will offer us other wonderfull songs ! He make le happy and stay alive ! 👏👏👏❤ I was lucky to met him in 2002 in London, Shepherd Bush empire I'll never forget !!! Mark knopfler for ever !!! This is one of the best pieces of life music celebrated ever! Tone, articulation, flow, emotion and lyrics that aren't "just on top of the music" but an integral part of the all surrounding "higher thing" thats going on. I can feel that and i'm not a die hard fan. Still i loved every millisecond of this, it's just outstanding.❤❤❤

I just realized I've been listening these tour videos exclusively for I don't know how many days. Working, exercising, driving, my finger always finds the start button and yet another of these Mark Knopfler live recordings. I had never realized how heart-moving Speedway at Nazareth was. I heard Local Hero a million times when published, but I cannot get bored of this live version. Stage performances lift these songs to another level. Still, after so many days of Markn Knopfler I think I should switch to some other music now. Or... should I? I think I just start it over again.

Puedo escuchar a Mark durante horas y horas, mes tras mes, año tras año, sin cansarme jamás de la belleza de sus canciones, la sensibilidad de su música, su incomparable calidad y, ante todo, su estilo totalmente exclusivo. Still going strong, it was year 1977 in Helsinki Kulttuuritalo, live Dire Straits and I was there too. Very modest performance like this, back to the roots. It's only music that counts.

I've seen Mark three times surrounded with the one by one fantastic musici. Honestly, i am done with this wold - Only listening to Mark"s music and his awesum lyrics can bring me in another wordl. I don't need drugs nor alcohol to find a moment of happiness. Thank you Mark. (To be fair ...., also the Eagles , can bring me tears.

I’ve been hooked since my mate bought the first album on its release - saw Dire Straits in Birmingham in feb 79 (never forget freezing outside in the queue!) Such a unique talent that just gets better with time ❤️

Brutaly good - I remember the 80th...all the old showe´s - Wembly Arena 1985 the first time - Bad ass show and Brothers in arms ... been to so many of them all magic shows ... with M-K on the front row....dam - the music is filling the life and my hear - Sad i missed this one Covid took its toll on me and now Im on the way to peace - .. still love your music my my long long best friend in music - Love from Sweden and from the bottom of my heart - you gave me life and joy - so thank you Mark and the rest of the skilled crew you allways have arround you - Dam that finger fiddle on the guitar,,,,,no one will ever match that - It makes life better in all ways listen to that - signing of now..

Mark Knopfler, gracias por deleitarnos escuchando este concierto, vaya que maravilla de músicos que reunió para este concierto, que bien conjuntados. Mark Knopfler otra de las vacas sagradas de la música moderna que nos dio el siglo XX, años 70´s 80´s y 90 que se nos hace mayor, aunque con el paso de los años como el buen vino mejora. Dios quiera que nos pueda deleitar durante mucho tiempo con su música y que lo podamos verde nuevo en concierto en Valencia tierra de artistas y buenos músicos. Sera difícil que en la era digital surjan los músicos que vieron la luz en la era analógica del vinilo.

I was lucky enough to see Dire Straits in concert in Bologna in 1982 and mark knopfler in the city of Cattolica 18 july 2019 with my son: unrepeatable emotions.

Augustin, thank you to eternity, keep searching for more Mark Genius Knopfler and put it up my first concert was 92 In Every Street in Dublin seen him 6 times after that but missed this 2019 did he hint this is his last tour, sincerely hope not 😔🎸🎸🎸🔥💯👍🇮🇹☘️
