@@sikerslalatm3147 I read a funny anecdote a few years ago where a wounded Australian soldier in hospital in Vietnam convinced a wounded American soldier in the bed next to him that there were no flushing toilets in Australia, except for in one 5 star hotel in Sydney.

South African domestic flights used to be great, I once flew Fly-Go Air from Cape Town to Joburg, when the Captain announced; 'that there is a life vest underneath your seat, in case we have to make an emergency landing on one of Joburg's 20,000 swimming pools'

I was flying by myself and the stewardess pelted me with the peanuts. The guy across the aisle saw it. He took his bag of peanuts and hit her in the back of the head, she whipped around to my seat, saw I still had my bag and before she said anything he said "it was me bitch, don't treat women like that again". So when I saw this, I loved it .. glad he stood up for me, even thought there was no handicapped child around.

Just have to say, on behalf of us other 'yarpies', please do not judge the rest of us by one person's behaviour. Especially as you yourself admit it was a rough pub and everyone else was drunk.
