Great result from such a simple kit

Have this kit all lined up for a build tomorrow, thought I would get some ideas on the build, rigging ,weathering etc....great insight very much inspired, thanks.

It's a really nicely made little kit....well engineered. You've done a splendid job with it; I made one a few months back, and did a bit of (very) basic rigging too, just to give the ship some 'finish'; you did far more, and it looks great!! 👍

Cute little model. I wish Airfix would do Mary Rose in a larger scale. I remember doing their HMS Victory, Cutty Sark and HMS Endeavour years and years ago. One detail nitpick: The upper decks should be the light grey colour of weathered wood, not dark brown. Decks were never varnished as that made them slippery. They were regularly sanded by the crew to keep them clean.
