Mark, I am from Oklahoma in the U.S.A. and just recently discovered PCPs. I am a long-time center/rimfire rifle looney and now I have fallen down the rabbit hole having bought four PCPs in quick succession. My first buy was a Benjamin Akela in .177 which wears a Hawke scope and is very accurate. (My dad started me and my older brother with pump Benjamins back in the early 1960s, so I have a soft spot in my heart for the brand.) The Akela is one of the most handsome bullpups out there IMO, along the with the FX Wildcat, but at about 1/3 the cost. My next gun was a Benjamin Maurader Pistol (PRod) in .22, which I turned into a backyard friendly carbine. It currently sports an MTC S.W.A.T 12X50 scope and is a light-weight and very accurate terror on the Starlings and Grackels that try to hog my songbird feed station. These two lower tier guns have served me well, but I started educating myself on the higher end rifles (as I fell further down the rabbit hole) and bought an FX Crown Continuum in .25. I have since bought .177 and .22 barrel kits for it. It a a laser beam in accuracy. It was about this time I discovered British guns (BSA, Brocock/BRK and Daystate.) The idea of an electronically controlled pellet rifle was so new to me it took me a while to come around. I found a beautiful wood stocked .22 Air Wolf on Airgun Nation Forum classified and bought it. It has a beautiful tiger-striped walnut stock and is in perfect condition with a Hugget shroud and moderator. Your video was very helpful to me and gives me confidence in operating the rifle. I must admit that this Air Wolf satisfies my curiosity on electronic Daystate rifles, and though the new Alpha Wolf and Delta Wolf are super charges with all new electronic controls, I have my eye on that old British icon .303 Enfield and am now lusting after the mechanical Daystate Wolverine R High Power Regulated Side Lever .303. Let me ask you a question. With so many great rifles on the market, if could own just one really nice rifle, which one would it be and why? Also, what kind of program update did the folks at Daystate do to your rifle? My Air Wolf menu looks just like yours. Do you think I need an update? Thanks my firend.

hi mark,,nice to see youve sorted the rifle out and its shooting really well,,its virtually the same gun as my air ranger except for the electronic trigger where as mine is a mechanical one,i was debating at the time i bought mine wether to get the air wolf but rather prefered the air ranger as its much simpler and less to go wrong, lol, but having said that they are both top class air rifles and the only air rifle you would ever need, never had one problem with mine since ive had it and its had around 50 tins of pellets through it,top quality english air rifles,,nice shooting on the range mate, hope to see some more of the air wolf with different pellets would be good mate,,great stuff and see you on the next one,👍👍👍

I agree. In a lot of respects the mechanical rifles will always be repairable, even if new parts are required and need fabricating when no longer available. Electronics, on the other hand are specialised for the manufacture and programing.

Great video. Thank you. I don't get it though....what's the point in all the electronics? It is supposedly more efficient ? How many more shots do you get from this compared to a regulated model?

I've got some Mako 10gr slugs to try through the AA S200 CZ barrel when it comes back from being fettled. Nice video

Lovely rifle mark and a kind gesture from the chap! 👍 great watch as always and you got to be like a dog with two dicks with heavies at 50y! awesome Only trouble is getting hold of JSB heavies as i believe there’s a shortage of them .. look forward to more vids on it..(would also be even tighter groups with single shot tray I reckon .) 👍

Is it a rowan engineering trigger Mark ?

No, as far as I am aware it is standard.

Thats not a standard trigger .

I agree MarkR. It looks like a new Wolverine R trigger. My Air Wolf trigger, while excellent, is shaped much different.
