PLOT: Three aspiring rock musicians -- Chazz (Brendan Fraser), Pip (Adam Sandler) and Rex (Steve Buscemi) -- are determined to have their band's demo tape played on the air. Out of desperation, they sneak into a Los Angeles radio station, but when the manager, Milo (Michael McKean), meets them with hostility, they resort to threatening him with realistic-looking water pistols. Soon the situation escalates, and the none-too-bright rockers get in over their heads.

This movie was a bomb which was surprising to me. A lot of SNL alums and they weren’t drawing out an SNL skit for two hours, they were making something original. This had the theatre laughing when I saw it.

@TheGonzoArt I did see Brendan Fraser on a Howard Stern interview talking about this film and he pretty much said it the studio that just disliked it and didn't promote it enough they just didn't care which is so stupid mean like at some of the crap they bring out these days but your right it's a bit like Joe dirt did better on video rentals and what not

I can't believe I'm actually explaining this but "air head" implies there is space in your head where your brain should be. The title is a play on words, "air" is what they call the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that carries radio waves- it's said that a station that is broadcasting is "on the air."
