I filmed in the beginning of November. I have been there at different times of the year...with and without rain. From what I hear, January is a great time to see the whales at Aitutaki.

You must contact the airport and get permission to fly anywhere on the island or in the lagoon. Flights patterns to/from the island change all the time depending on weather conditions.
