the long awaited engine assembly video! I recorded so much detail into this that it turned out to be a really long video. splitting it into 2 or 3 parts to cover everything. some of you may have already seen it on Adamlz openhouse video. its alive and stronger than ever! took me a few days of straight working on it to get it done for the event. had to sacrifice uploading videos the whole weekend but it was a great turnout. was able to meet a lot of you there and had a ton of fun.

I have the same torque wrench, and also love it. Just a little info for you, you don't have to torque zero or angle zero it other than before the first torque of each step. Also you don't have to wait for the display to stop flashing to do the next bolt torque, once its gone green beeped and vibrated it is ready for the next one. Always good content as usual

Having polished piston tops is a performance mod it helps to reduce knock and the carbon buildup which in the end does equal power just not enough for people to notice but that is most definitely a performance by my friend and a good one that most people overlook I will be doing the same to my motor with my Pistons as well as the combustion Chambers in the heads will both be polished to a mirror finish that way carbon can never collect to the surfaces of the combustion chamber which will help to reduce the chance of knock or detonation

You shouldn't rotate the crank until you put the main caps are on and torque them down. All that achieved was to put assembly lube between the main cap and the block (bearing acts like a scraper). If you must rotate the crank to ensure it is seated properly move it back and forward a tiny amount, not rotate in one direction.

I've heard polished pistons resist deposits better, no idea if it's true but it sounds possible. Smoother surface has less area for things to grab onto, just like buffed and well maintained clear coat keeps your car clean for longer.

The intake side is always colder then the exhaust side of the engine. And the inlet valve side of the pistons stay cleaner because the fuel air mixture hits it and vaporizes on the piston. Nothing to do with the break in of the engine... just after many miles it is not that obvious anymore.

Alberto you're a smart guy but at times you make me scratch my head as why you do things. You put effort into polishing the top of the pistons when all that really needed to be done was to debur any sharp edges on the valve pockets, but where you should have spent time polishing (the lower part of the block to let oil return quicker) you leave the standard casting dags. Dude one word "priorities".
