We each have to figure it out for ourselves. But what it sounds like, just throwing this out there and you will make your own decisions of course, is you’ve been trying to do anything and everything to keep alcohol in your life. You’re doing everything except quitting alcohol and staying quit, including a geographical and working 7 days a week (which is not sustainable as you now seem to appreciate) and now even thinking of buying another home. You don’t need to do all this. You just need to stop drinking. You can stay your whole life in this bargaining mode, trying to keep alcohol in the equation and you can announce you’re quitting as many times as you wish, or you can genuinely start to put some sobriety time together and see the changes that that brings. I was drinking a big bottle of Smirnoff a day by the end. Rolling around in bed or my flat on my own, being sick, hallucinating, barely hanging on to the contract job I had, saying horrible things to the people I loved. Now I have my partner back and can spend every day present with our beautiful son and my career is getting back on track. Most of all, I don’t hate myself when I wake up in the morning. I’m starting to feel like me again. Whatever short and small buzz alcohol gave me is nothing compared to a life I’m proud of and being close to people I love who are proud of me too.

@@CMoore8539 good question. I drank for 30 years and tried to stop for the last 12 years. Nothing else worked for me. If you consider yourself an alcoholic, then no middle of the road solution will work long term. My problem wasn’t stopping it was staying stopped. Having a spiritual experience as a result doing the 12 steps with a sponsor is the only thing that has worked for me. Don't over-analyse and make unrealistic goals. First you've got to be off it for a few weeks to find some clarity of thought. You might then see a good path forward. Making pledges whilst you're on alcohol is not going to convince others of your sincerity.

You can't overcome alcoholism with workouts and energy bars. You need professional help. I was an alcoholic for years until I asked my GP to refer me to an agency to help addicts - I am now sober for 10 years.

Um maybe you need to see a psychiatrist as I don’t think doing this by yourself is working . Your lifestyle is not sustainable. I see this as just another clip of saying new day, new me. It’s getting a bit repetitive and pointless at this stage. Sorry to be harsh but you really need to seek professional help.

Why don't you do 12 months in AA, look at the hole in your soul (we call it a spiritual malady) then come back and do a video? alcohol is a symptom of the problem you're the actual problem as you're the alcoholic - alcohol - ism the ism means '''In side me'' you MUST understand your illness you have no idea brother. I know you have good intentions but you're not getting sober any time soon.

I don’t totally understand your situation but why do you feel the need to provide for your “family” who don’t seem to be willing to contribute as well? What kind of work are you doing? Menial stuff or are you qualified in something?

Find another alcoholic to talk to. And I saw in another video of yours that you don't believe in the word alcoholism. Probably time to rethink that too. You aren't thinking yourself out of this addiction. Take it from me- someone who did the same shit you are doing. (I just didn't post it on the internet). Put the internet down. Go get face to face with someone who has gone to the depths of hell with alcohol and connect with them. Not trying to be a dick or anything. Sometimes the truth hurts. The algorithm brought me here bc I occasionally watch videos related to alcoholism, and you live On the other side of the planet, but I feel your pain and talking to the internet isn't going to fix shit. Good luck.
