My grandfather beat pancreatic cancer for 5 years and ended up dying from a heart attack. It is possible to beat. He had a whipple procedure.

yeah he was 82 and got it done at a college because every hospital said he was too old to have it. He still rode motorcycle after the surgery up until he fell and broke a hip.

You can tell he was touched and he felt bad the guy was gonna lose despite his kindness. My mom told me when I was 3 years old, while other kids would be playing with blocks and dolls, I would take an empty box, use it like a podium, and say, "This is Jeopardy!" Thank you Alex Trebek for all the years of entertainment and knowledge. To me, you will always be immortal. Rest in peace Mr Trebek and bless your heart, Dhruv Gaur.

@Moe Howard Not at all. I've known many people, both family and friends who have died from the disease. In each case, especially pancreatic cancer, they lost a LOT of weight and were very weak. Even their voices became thready. Alex seems to be holding up pretty well, his weight seems to be good, his face isn't drawn like I've seen before, and his voice sounds strong and normal.

Alex Trebek is like the Fred Rogers of game shows. He, like Fred Rogers transcends the platform he is on and demonstrates what character and goodness are all about. He will become the standard by which everyone else is judged. He is a National Treasure and my prayers go out to him and his family. I wish he was in contact with Dr. Mercola because Mercola is on The Cutting Edge of so many Innovative treatments and would probably be able to give him the best advice possible on the planet while he is going through his treatment. I hope somebody already reached out to Dr. Mercola about him.

For 50 yrs I watched Alex Trebek and right up to this pass week my 15 yr old grand daughter and I played Jeopardy over the phone. We both cried together when the news broke. She thinks that the job will be offered to Ken Jennings and stated he too will be a kind and gentle host but we both agree no one will ever take the place of Alex Trebek. That's what I said to my dad before he passed of cancer in July. I would tell him who am I gonna play jeopardy with if you go, we played jeopardy for 20 years together, I can't really put into words how much I miss him every day. cancer truly is the worst thing ever, it's his birthday today hed be 63 happy birthday pops l love you man I'm praying for you alex good luck.
