@cart 55 obviously he could sing a song, the point is he can not sing it like Layne. He doesn't have anywhere the range Layne did. This is why it mattered so much to him to get Layne in his band because he knew he did not have the lead singer vocal range. He knew Layne had "it".

@@billpeart - Totally. I am glad to see that someone else here has some common sense and is also probably a decent musician. All of these people who say that Layne was 'the best singer of all time', are fans and largely speaking from ignorance. Like I say all the time, just because someone or a sports team is your favorite, that doesn't mean that they are the best. You said it correctly, Layne had a unique voice and it worked well with the band....and really well with Cantrell's vocals. But Jerry was the musician of that band.
@damiandander5 жыл бұрын
@@michaelr.4878 He was a great singer not the best because the best singer doesn't exist. But he had a beautiful rich tone and a powerful middle range. I prefer Scott Weiland over him because he was more versatile than him but still Layne could had been as good or even better that Scott if he had the chance to live longer. He's voice is not overrated at all, he was a great vocalist.

Come on people !!! For crying out loud... when U just did 26 shows in less then 40days I wud EXPECT you people 2 get it... Plus if ur on this site U must be a AIC Fan 2 start w'. So give him a break !!! He PUSHED his voice on some songs & the normal good singers cud not Sing alot of them as him dones 2 start. Does it have 2 be "thus or that's Cas Thy are Not easy 2 sing (exp/ this 1 = 'Box' & "Bleed the Freak" Very hard 2 sing So pushes his voice often in many of the songs 2 start w'. Does it have 2 be "Coke" or any of Ur others belief you are "guessing at" What about singing 2 hours a nite - many shows - in a shot time & many are Hard 2 songs (like Adeles) anyone cud get a little sore throat or ur "cords" have just been pushed & need 2-3 days in a row every 2 weeks to Rest... Be Realistic !! evidenly - Ur NOT a singer.... Peace & Love 😚 bella bell

Adam Bialkowski he cried a lot before this concert, as mike starr (bass) overdosed before this concert, when doing heroin with cobain, staley (and maybe courntney love) and they brought starr back to life.. also touring too

Soo lucky, bet the show was incredible!! I got to see them open up for Van Halen in like '91 I think and they IMMEDIATELY became my favorite band and singer of all time, still to this day although Mad Season truly holds a special place for me too ❤❤🙏🙏

This had to be near the end of Mike’s tenure with AIC at this point.

@@jjcaron72 Yes agree. As much as I respect Mike Inez as a bass player, I miss Mike Starr's contribution to AIC to this day. R.I.P Mike Starr

Que timbre foda, no geral! Sistema analógico de excelente qualidade! Pena que hoje em dia não se faz mais som ao vivo raiz assim.
